Get Ready! Prepare means to make something ready for use or consideration. Or to make someone ready or able to do or deal with something. To make ready beforehand for some purpose, use, or activity. Being prepared means that you’ve done the work, and you’re at the point where no more research and advice is going to tell you what to do. According to the Strong Bible definition, the word “Prepare” means to be firm, be stable, be established, to be set up, to be ready, to make arrangements. “Prepare” is a Word that God gave to me so that I may be ready for something. The definition also says, “Do whatever is necessary to get something prepared or ready.” There are so many things that we should prepare for. The main one is to be ready for Jesus when he comes. Let’s us make ourselves ready for the doors of opportunities that God is bringing us to.

Joseph stayed ready for the opportunities that came.

Genesis 39:2 – And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man: and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. 3. And his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand. He became overseer of the master’s house. Not because he had the skills but because he saw that the Lord was with him. Not because he qualified and went to school for management but because the Lord was with him. He was sold by his brothers and left for dead, but he walked into an opportunity. He was lied on and thrown in jail. But he walked into another opportunity to show off his gift to interpret dreams. And the man forgot about him only to remember him later. Not one time did Joseph get discouraged but he stayed ready!

Stay Ready

Some of us have gone through so much and want to give up. Working hard at the dream and seeing no fruit. So, you want to stop trying, throw in the towel, or have completely stopped. Well, God has not and will not give up on you and He is saying PREPARE! Get ready for the promise.

Sometimes, getting ready is just studying and doing research to come to the knowledge of something. So, what provisions do you need to prepare and get ready? Because it is time to take the land!

The Lord told Joshua to prepare the people to enter!! Joshua 1:10 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, 11. Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days, ye shall pass over this Jordan to go in to possess the land, which the Lord your God giveth you to possess it. Victuals means supplies of food: provisions; any substance that can be used as food.

What supplies do you need to get started? To take this journey? To open your business or ministry? To go back to school, to buy the house, to fix your credit? What do you need to prepare to get it started? 7

Stay Ready

Pushing forward to the next, crossing over to take the land. We, the saints of God, must take the land and everything in it. That includes schools, social media, government, fashion, business, family, arts and entertainment, and religion. All things will become new!
