ThePathUnraveled:FindingPurposeAmidst Confusion
“Thegreatestdayofyourlifeiswhenyou realizewhyyouarehere,yourpurpose!”So someonesaid.But,theydidn’tmentionthe complexitiesandconflictsthatcamealong withit,makingitthedayyouquestionyour entireexistenceandpast.Welcometo“hell onearth”thedayofconfusionandtheonset ofmanyheadandheartachestocome.Thisis thelifeofknowingyourpurpose,thelifeofa visionary.
RootsinStarr,SouthCarolina:AJourney Begins
Althoughgrowingupinthesmalltownof Starr,SouthCarolina,anddeemingAnderson abigcity(currentpopulationoflessthan 30,000),Iknewtherewassomethingforme todo.Earlychildhoodwasspentprimarilyin Baptistcongregationsbeingthatmy grandparentswereBaptist.Atage4,mymom transitionedtoPentecostalafterbeing invitedbyhercousinandenjoyingthe service.So,I’ve“known”OfGodallmylife, essentially.
QuestioningtheFaith:Seeking Understanding
Ihavealwaysbeenonetoquestionthings andtooktostudyingatanearlyage.I wantedtoknow“howitworkednomatter what.God,life,heaven,andhellwereallso intriguingandequallyconfusingall throughoutmyteenageyearsandbeyond.I wouldposemanyquestionstomymother andsheencouragedmetostudymore, knowingthatIwouldn’tstopuntilIwas satisfiedwithananswer.
TheRevelation:EmbracingtheCall
Idon’trememberthedayofthe“official” comingintotheknowledgeofmypurpose; Ifeelitevolvedovertime,orperhapsmy understandingofit.However,thedayI realizedthereasonwhyIexisted,it wasapunchinthegut“IknowthatIknow” conviction,thatwouldn’tallowmetorest.I was,forthe1st timeinmylife;stuck, perplexed,andscaredtobehonest.

ChallengesalongtheWay: Trialsand Tribulations
AfteracceptingthecallingtosomethingI knewwasabovemypaygradeand comprehension,mylifebegantounravel.My spiritbecameuneasywithcontinuingmy religiousjourneyofthechurch,andthatisa wholeconversationbyitself.Mythen-wife wasthedaughteroftheBishop,andbecause Godwastakingmesomewhere,Ibecamea mentalmess.Icouldn’tgetanyanswersand everythingthatItrustedandknew,Iwasnow questioningandmyverylifedependedonit.
AJourneyofTrials:FindingStrengthin Adversity
Nextcamejail,anothervowbroken,andthe disgraceofbeinglockeduptookmedeeper downthispath.Ifthatwasn’tenough,the nextyearIlostmymother,suddenly,atthe tenderageof47,onChristmasEveandaday shyofher25thweddinganniversary.Iwas CRUSHED.
TheRoadtoRestoration:FaithTestedand Renewed
Withpurpose,Godhasthisbuilt-in“willto live”thatmakesyougetupandfightalthough youdon’twantto.Atthispoint,Ihadtolive formysiblings,andIwasalsosomadthatI refusedtoletGodpunkmeingivingup.My healthisfullyrestored,Godhasaffordedme therestoration
Hepromised,andI’mforeverdedicated anddeterminedthatnomatterwhator whocomesorgoes,mylifehasONE purposeandthat’stoserveintheArmyof Yahweh,theonlyoneandtrueall-powerful andlivingGod.
ChallengesandRevelations:Embracingthe CalltoKingdomBuilding
Iencourageeachofyoutotakeastand, fearlessly,andtakeastandforthefamily. Don’tstressgettingitrightbecausethe howdoesn’tmatterandyouWILLmessup (orsoyouwillfeel)andunfortunately, otherswillbeaffectedbyyourtrialsand errors.Keepapureheartandprayfor restorationforallthathelpsyouonyour journey,andGodwillgrantthemtheir portionashehasallthroughouthistoryfor thosewhoshowedfavortoHischildrenon amove.
Conclusion:ACalltoAction
Thejourneytoyourcallingisn’tgoingtobe abedofroses,butatruevisionwillbe tested,andifnot,it’snotofGod.Nomatter whatyou’refeelingcompelledtodoorhow thecallingcame,tightenupyourbootsand prepareforthecourse.Godhasaunique planforeachofus,andweallhavegifts neededforthebuildingofGod’sKingdom hereonEarth.
