Honoree: Insight

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley is proud to celebrate the unparalleled impact of Insight Enterprises Inc. Founded in Tempe in 1988 and now operating in 19 countries, Insight builds meaningful connections to help their clients and communities run smarter. Nearly 12,000 teammates live by their core values: they show Hunger, Heart and Harmony in everything they do.

HUNGER

• We are change agents, united in our passion to improve every day and deliver outstanding results for our clients, partners and Insight.

HEART

• We are teammates. We take care of each other, our clients and our communities.

HARMONY

• We are a team of diverse individuals who value inclusivity and create meaningful connections so we can win together.

At the heart of Insight Enterprises’ purpose of building meaningful connections to help businesses and communities run smarter is the belief that technology can change lives in profound ways. Positively impacting a child’s life is the greatest expression of this, which is why Insight’s community mission centers on enhancing technology’s reach to youth. “I strongly believe that technology is our greatest resource for doing good. It can magnify noble causes with an incomparable ability to scale, automate, innovate and communicate.”

Insight Enterprises

Insight Reach, the company’s charitable-giving program, encourages Insight’s teammates in North America to give back through endeavors that emphasize educational opportunities for children, particularly through STEM-based nonprofit partnerships. In 2021, the company’s charitable contributions amounted to $1.6 million globally.

Through Reach, Insight helps children be ambitious about exploring careers in technology. One aspect of this is the company’s annual “Noble Cause” campaign, which wrapped up its 11th year in December by donating a total of $250,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley, Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Since Insight provides its teammates two paid “Heart Days” per year to dedicate to community volunteering — equivalent to 86,000 volunteer hours annually. The company also annually donates Macbooks and other computer equipment to Club teenagers who are preparing for college.

Our community is fortunate that Insight lives their values, including investing in Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley. Over the past 30 years, Insight has given their time to our members, they’ve partnered on technology improvements and they offer expertise in board service. We look forward to celebrating Insight’s many contributions to our community. “Technology can have an enormous impact on the world. It’s second nature to our children, and we are dedicated to giving them greater access so they can use it as a force for good in their lives.”
