Assistant Circle Club Manager Circle Club Administrator, Executive Chef, Casual Club staff including Kitchen Staff (chefs etc), catering vendors

VENUE:

Bord Gais Energy Theatre

REPORTS TO:

Circle Club Manager

JOB PURPOSE To ensure the smooth running of ticket booking, hospitality and the operational running of the Circle Club. To assist in planning and execution of all private events. To deputise in the club manager’s absence.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED ESSENTIAL DESIRABLE             

Third level qualification Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a restaurant manager role/ supervisory role within the Hospitality environment “Customer is King” mentality Excellent rapport in dealing with high-end clientele Event management experience Understanding of excellent food, wine and service standards. Highly computer literate Diary management Ability to prioritise and multi-task efficiently Interpersonal skills, ability to follow as well as lead within a team. Work well under pressure Impeccable attention to detail Willingness to work unsociable days/hours and shift work.

     

Interest in theatre Desire to work within a commercial theatre environment. An innovative approach to sales Experience in PCI / Archtics ticketing systems First Aid training HACCP training

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES          

To ensure presentation of the circle club is of the highest standard at all times. To be the primary contact for all member ticket bookings, this includes the making and managing of bookings for all members, relating to tickets and tables in the club. To deal with all member’s business in a professional and confidential manner. To book, train, motivate and manage circle club staff for the smooth running of the club. To communicate the required operating standards to all staff members and ensure they understand and implement such standards at all times. To take events from the enquiry stage through to the execution of the event. To provide hospitality and facilitate special requests to VIP parties. To manage guest-lists and calendars for the club To ensure the highest standard of customer service is provided to all customers. To ensure assist with some administrative tasks when necessary such as daily banking and invoicing.

To work closely with the operations team in other departments. To be willing to work weekends, evenings and unsociable hours.
