Group Bookings Executive JOB PURPOSE
The Group Bookings Executive will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the groups department, with a view to maximising sales for the department. The individual will be the first port of call for all enquiries, while actively engaging with, and approaching potential bookers.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED ESSENTIAL
DESIRABLE
Educated to degree level 2 years’ experience in a box office or sales role Strong customer service skills Motivated and driven Works well within a team Organised and efficient Works well under pressure
An interest in the arts and theatre Previous experience with PCI, although training will be provided Experience of a fast pace sales environment.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES To be the first point of contact for all group bookers & patrons with access issues, while obtaining as much information as possible at the point of sale for relationship development. To research and identify potential group bookers both locally and nationally, whilst maintaining and updating existing databases. Assist in the design and distribution of groups’ literature and promotional material, such as ezines and to communicate the objectives of the department to the public. To conduct any other duties as directed by the management team.
