The Department of Mechanical Engineering requires a highly skilled, adaptable and self- motivated Instrumentation/Electronics Technician to provide technical support in its main electronics workshop. You will be responsible for providing technical advice and support to staff and to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the safe operation and use of a variety of electronic and instrumentation equipment together with basic hand tools, fitting, assembly and soldering. You will also be responsible for giving technical advice and assistance with the design, manufacture and maintenance of specialist electronic equipment, apparatus and systems.
