MTB XC BH SR Suntour KMC, worldwide reference in XC BH and the BH-SR Suntour-KMC team continue to ride together. This collaboration has been confirmed by their success in the London 2012 Olympics where the young Julie Bresset took the gold in Mtb. Julie Bresset, 24 years of age, came to the team in 2010 and in a few short years, she has become an international reference in the world of female Mtb as well as the most important member of the team led by Michel Hutsebaut. With this line up, the BH Suntour team is sure to lead the XC World Championships over the next seasons.
BH SR Suntour KMC
In 2014, the BH SR Suntour KMC has been reinforced with the incorporation of three your promises of that discipline: Victor Koreztky, World and French Champion sub23, Hanna Klein and Jordan Sarrow. And they have already have become the first team in the world in the UCI ranking.
Julie Bresset «I am still celebrating my win in the Olympic Games» Bresset is London 2012 Olympic Champion, 2012 World Champion, 2011 World Cup Champion and French XC Champion in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.

TRIATHLON BH is strongly committed, for another season, to triathlon supporting established participants and young promises. The men and women that form the BH Tri Team are going to be talked about on the international circuit, and we are sure, they regularly will be on the podiums. The BH Tri-team has begun the 2014 season with some important victories by practically all of its members. Each of the races held has displayed the individual strength of these athletes who compete in three different disciplines, obtaining enviable results season after season.
Eneko Llanos «This year I want to be with the best in the Hawaii Ironman» Enelko Llanos from Alava has began the season with a victory in the Saint Polter Ironman and has a clear main objective of the Hawaii Ironman in October where his great physical condition has allowed him to be among the best on three occasions. Llanos competes with a BH Aerolight. A bicycle that meets all the needs and that he defines as rapid, aerodynamic, rigid and lightweight.
Mario Mola «I hope to compete for a medal in the Olympics of Rio» Mario Mola from the Balearic Isles is the triathlon World Cup dominator after winning the first two races held in Mooloolaba (Australia) and New Plymouth (Nueva Zealand) and demonstrating a magnificent physical strength. Mario Mola already was among the best in the World Series and everything shows that in 2014 he is going to compete for the triumphs of the speciality like the Brownlee brothers and Gomez Noya. If this magnificent progression continues he will be able to fulfil one of his greatest sporting objectives: compete for a medal in the Olympics of Rio.
Joao Silva «I have no limits» Joao Silva, from Portugal, European ETU sub-23 Champion in 2010, continues his ascending career in the international triathlete program. Last season he managed to be on the podium in Auckland, San Diego and Yokohama and, in spite of suffering a small injury, he managed to finish sixth in the ranking.
Mario Mola
This year he has started with a magnificent third position in the New Plymouth (New Zealand) race and twelfth position on Mooloolaba (Australia). If anything characterises this athlete it is his strong discipline and patience.
Fernando Alarza «BH is a world leader in the bicycle sector» Fernando Alarza from Talavera is destined to become one of the greatest stars of worldwide triathlon. In 2013, once again he was sub-champion of the World championship sub-23, after also being sub-champion in 2012, and his progression continues during 2014, with seventh position in the Mooloolaba triathlon and fourth place in New Plymouth. His attitude, constancy and strength in the three segments of the triathlon makes him, in spite of his youth, one of the rivals to beat.
Catriona Morrison «I train mainly in Scotland but I spend as much time as possible in Spain during the winter» Catriona Morrison is currently one of the most important triathletes, as demonstrated by her impressive list of accomplishments. She has earned three first place wins in the Texas Ironman, the Ironman 70.3 Texas and the Ironman 70.3 St Croix, in addition to a bronze medal in the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon.
13
All of this, even after admitting to having Achilles tendon issues over the past seasons.
Gurutze Frades «Participating in triathlons fulfils me, it makes me feel good» Gurutz Frades is one of the most outstanding triathletes of the national scene. After reaching the Spanish Long Distance Championship in 2012, in 2013 he once again demonstrated his qualities and managed to both the medium and long distance Spanish championships.
Igor Amorelli «Compete and give your utmost» Brazilian triathlete that has demonstrated impressive results these last years. First in Ironman Brazil 2014, third in 2013 and 13th in the Kona Ironman 2013.
Miquel Blanchart «Triathlon makes me feel eternally like a child» Miquel Blanchart forms part of the new generation of Spanish Long Distance triathletes. Great foot runner, he has already demonstrated all his talent in the Ironman format and very soon, he will gain international prestige. His next objective is the Hawaii Ironman.

maximum speed
Maximum stiffness without sacrificing the aerodynamics
Designed to cut the wind
The G6 Pro maximizes the lateral stiffness by resizing the stays, the model 386 bottom bracket offers more strength to the frame tubes and the head tube with a 1.5 bearing maximizes the strength in that area. All these contribute to achieve high speeds, even on winding roads or alternating bends, since they allow the bike to be ridden with precision on the chosen course without experiencing any form of turbulence.
This attack posture, ideal for reaching high speeds and cutting the wind, is possible with the G6 thanks to the shorter pods allowing excellent traction, a seat-post with recoil, a low steering stem, a compact horizontal tube and little advance in the fork.

100% stiff, 100% light
An uphill missile
This machine achieves absolute total stiffness both vertically and laterally since it does not flex when power is demanded from it. BH has balanced this complex equation thanks to a triple combination: the tube of the seat at the bottom bracket has been widened, the head tube with a 1.5 bearing maximizes the strength of that area and the innovative model 386 bottom bracket offers greater strength to the tubes of the frame and provides greater resistance.
A shorter distance between axles, seat-post without recoil, a low steering stem, a compact horizontal tube and small advance in the fork change the Ultralight into an authentic missile uphill and allow the cyclist to make explosive and convincing changes of rhythm.

Endurance technology
The head tube, slightly raised, maximizes total ergonomics of the rider with the machine and provides a more comfortable position. Likewise, it gains in lateral and vertical stiffness and, therefore, in efficiency thanks to its model 386 bottom bracket. The semi-sloping geometry guarantees the rider with a great capacity for reaction and greater stability.
The efficient and balanced design, its optimal vertical absorption, the aerodynamic coefficient, the endurance geometry, the model 386 bottom bracket, the head tube slightly raised and the 27.2 mm. seat post make of Quartz a comfortable and efficient bike that offers all the benefits and performance sought after by both professional and cycling amateurs.

CONVERTIBLE INTERNAL ROUTING
The frames aerodynamic qualities and aggressive confidence inspiring design urge the rider to speed, accelerate and go all out, all while devouring kilometres. From the first turn of the pedals, the G6 exhibits tremendous efficiency all while highlighting why small details are important in top-level competition. The G6 has its own very personalized style and aggressive design profile which is founded upon the companies rich century old cycling heritage, a combination unmatched in the bicycling industry today.
We design and develope the frame from the inside out Our innovative frame building technology allows BH to accurately control and optimize the material thickness throughout the entire frame design. Selecting the most appropriate carbon to support our targets for weight, stiffness and ride compliancy allow BH to achieve the engineered balance that our frames are known for. The result is a spectacular, lightweight yet aerodynamic design with exceptional rider power transfer and unparalleled vertical compliancy.
Carbon device in the frame to obtain maximum rigidity and strength
Burgos BH - 2014 21
Oversized bottom bracket. Maximum lateral stiffness. The G6 incorporates the BB386EVO bottom bracket system which is 86.5 mm wide which allows for full bearing support within the bottom bracket itself. This wider shell design allows for increased surface area for improved stiffness, rigidity and design flexibility. The result is exceptional lateral rigidity and improved stability, control and efficiency in each pedal stroke.
Sloping geometry. Optimal handling The G6 frame utilizes a compact frame geometry that provides exceptional standover heights in all frame sizes and allows for greater tortional frame stiffness. The frames geometry was derived from years of development experience focused on building some of the best climbing bikes in the world that offer optimal handling, immediate acceleration and an overall confidence like nothing else in the industry.

The Ultralight is everything you expect in a top level racing bike; extremely lightweight, laterally stiff and very efficient. It is an ideal frame design for producing the best results from any rider. The minimalistic look was designed and engineered around our Hollow Core Internal Molding Technology, resulting in the lightest, yet stiffest frame we have ever produced. The power transfer from rider to wheel is second to none. Designed to climb, the development team applied this motto to every aspect of the frame, ultimately producing a frame specifically suited for racing. Climbing, descending and breaking free from the Peloton is made easier and requires less effort thanks to the incredible stiffness-to-weight ratio of this proprietary carbon blend, resulting in uncompromised frame responsiveness.

Crankset BB386 EVO. Increased lateral and vertical stiffness
EVO
The bottom bracket of the Ultralight utilizes the BB386EVO architecture and measures 86.5mm in overall width. This new bottom bracket design offers the Ultralight frame a greater surface area for improved lateral frame stiffness. The BH designers were able to increase the cross sectional areas of the tubing while reducing overall wall thickness, thus increasing the torsional stiffness in the bottom bracket. The result is increased lateral frame stiffness, improved efficiency and total control with every turn of the pedals.
700 gram frame design with no user weight limit for the cyclist
29
This new design has enabled BH to increase the size of the down tubes diameter, thus reducing the thickness of the walls and increasing the torsion stiffness by 166% and the rear stiffness by 125%.
Maximum rigidity and lightweight
As a result, the cyclist may place more demands on the frame, particularly when going uphill, putting all of his/her effort into speed and power. In addition, the Ultralight has a crankset group designed exclusively for the model.
Cable guides within the frame. Maximum protection, simple maintenance The innovative Ultralight cable guide system offers the possibility of integrating mechanical or electronic systems, guaranteeing maximum protection.
Compact Geometry. Direct connection to the bicycle When the road is inclined, the Ultralight is at its best. It offers an experience that fuses the bicycle and the cyclist, creating a single unstoppable machine. Its studied geometry converts it into an easilymanoeuvrable bicycle that is explosive, quick to change directions and follow any path with great precision. The slightly elevated head tube, the slightly advanced fork placement, the rear triangle geometry with 402 mm. chainstays, and the slight modification of the seat angle give the Ultralight a lower-than-normal centre of gravity. This design allows for more precise and fast speed changes, hugging curves at high speeds, attacking uphill climbs either seated or standing, with increased explosiveness, transforming every ounce of energy into power so as to get the best performance out of the most complicated terrains.

Lightweight, 950 gram (M size). Optimized Control Technology
100% carbon. Lighter and more rigid
27.2 mm seat post Added comfort while riding
With the design and development of the Quartz line, BH has created a lightweight yet responsive top-performing frame which stands second none in its category.
The Quartz seat post is only 27.2 mm in diameter, similar to that used on the Ultralight model. This design offers additional weight savings to the overall frame while adding greater vertical compliancy.
The Quartz frame is a full carbon monocoque design developed using a highly specific carbon layup and molding technique. This innovative technology allows for greater control and optimization of the material thicknesses throughout the frame design. A specific blend of high modulus carbon fiber was selected specifically to meet the performance targets set by the BH development team, which resulted in a spectacular aerodynamic design that is lightweight and offers optimal vertical compliancy.
CIR
CONVERTIBLE INTERNAL ROUTING
With only 950 grams in size M, Quartz frame is one of the lightest and most efficient in its category.
The most aerodynamic fork The Quartz fork, like that of the G6, is manufactured using a unique carbon design which fits the headset like a glove. The result is a smooth transition between frame and fork in both looks and performance.
Asymmetrical rear chainstays The rear chainstay design is asymmetrical, as in the other BH top of the line frames, in order to increase the lateral stiffness of the frame and to allow installation of wider wheel designs. BB386 EVO System
39
BB386 EVO Bottom bracket system. Increased lateral stiffness The BB386 EVO bottom bracket, an innovation co-developed by BH in collaboration with FSA, incorporates an overall bottom bracket width of 86.5 mm. This optimized bottom bracket design allows the frame builder to increases overall frame stiffness while increasing rear tire clearance required of wider wheel designs. Using this system, BH has increase the torsion stiffness in the bottom bracket of the Quartz resulting in increased rider efficiency. The result is improved lateral stiffness, greater stability and increased control with each turn of the pedals.
Compact Geometry. Direct connection with the bicycle The design of the top tube is slightly tilted to ensure the safety and ergonomics of the rider. The semi-sloping geometry places the center of gravity and rear triangle at lower position.

Top competition The Aerolight is the ideal bicycle for top triathletes. It is a bike designed to slice the wind, reach top speeds, explode across the flats and make the differences in uphill climbs. The overall design lines are all the results of numerous brainstorming sessions held by the technical and sports sections of BH in order to attain the most advanced, spectacular and top of the line triathlon bicycle possible.
HCIM (Hollow Core Internal Molding) The Aerolight frame has been manufactured in accordance with the principles of the other top BH frames, such as the Ultralight and G6 models. In building the Aerolight frame, a number of innovative technologies have been implemented into the overall development process in order to control and optimize the ideal carbon wall thicknesses for the different locations within the frame. Also the most appropriate carbon layups are developed and then applied to a minimal carbon layer molding technique in order to ensure extreme rigidity in a lightweight frame design. BB386
This proprietary manufacturing process uses a combination of high and medium modulus materials in order to attain the high standards demanded by BH.
EVO
Oversized bottom bracket. Greater torsional stiffness BH oversized the bottom bracket in order to incorporate the BB386EVO system, which ensures greater torsional stiffness and increased rider efficiency. This innovative design allows the width of the external bottom bracket to be increased to 86.5 mm, providing greater flexiblity to produce a superior frame design.
Eneko Llanos Iroman Kona 2013 67
The combination of the oversized bottom bracket design, allowing the incorporation of the BB386EVO system, together with the position of the chain stays makes the Aerolight frame appropriate for even the widest wheels in the sector.
Seat tube. In attack position The aerodynamic seat tube design, allowing for a seat angle of between 74º and 78º allows the rider to adopt a more relaxed or more aggressive positioning.
Fully unified front fork The headtube design is built around an 1 1/8” bearing both at the top and bottom race. It has been manufactured in a narrow, stylized shape in order to offer the frame a more aggressive, aerodynamic form. The headtube surface seamlessly blends into the airfoil inspired fork blades which house the cutout for the rear mounted front brake Design.
Geometry. Custom fit The geometry of the new frame offers a wide range of adjustments that may be modified based on needs. The new Aerolight maintains the size of the rear chainstays at 380 mm, notably increasing the cyclist’s responsiveness and explosiveness while in motion .

Oversized bottom bracket. Greater torsional stiffness
The Aerolight RC is a machine built to compete in triathlons. It was designed thinking about the aerodynamics of the triathlete, to reach maximum speeds with less effort. Therefore, it includes some of the greatest technological and design innovations of the Aerolight, a reference frame in the triathlon market.
BH oversized the bottom bracket in order to incorporate the BB386EVO system, which ensures greater torsional stiffness and increased rider efficiency. This innovative design allows the width of the external bottom bracket to be increased to 86.5 mm, providing greater flexiblity to produce a superior frame design.
Built out of 100% carbon. Aerodynamic speed
The combination of the oversized bottom bracket design, allowing the incorporation of the BB386EVO system, together with the position of the chain stays makes the Aerolight frame appropriate for even the widest wheels in the sector.
The Aerolight RC line is built out of 100% carbon, based on the same principles as the other top of the line BH frames like the Ultralight or the Aerolight. It was designed to achieve optimal air penetration and perfect biomechanical positioning.
BB386
This patented manufacturing process uses a combination of carbon fibres of high, medium and low modules in order to achieve the high quality standards demanded by BH. In all Aerolight RC tube cross-sections, formulas have been applied and tests and analyses have been undertaken to maximize the frame’s aerodynamics without affecting its rigidity.

86,5 mm BB386 EVO Bottom bracket system which is 86.5 mm wide. In addition, the RX Team frame has been designed and adapted to meet the new standards regarding disc brakes recently approved by the UCI for competition.
BB386EVO The RX Team frame has been designed around the new BB386EVO bottom bracket system which allows the use of an 86.5 mm shell. Increasing the surface of the shell, means you also greatly increase its torsional rigidity, strength, and the cyclist’s efficiency during a ride or a race. Furthermore, the chainstays and fork design, together with the new BB386EVO bottom bracket system, allow for use of the widest wheels in the market.
Fork. Increased steering precision Designed for competition
BB386
When BH Bikes developed a frame for cyclo-cross it was thinking about competition and what racers in this discipline required from their machine, whatever terrain or conditions they came up against along the circuit.
EVO
BH designed and manufactured the new RX Team frame with collaboration and input from some of the most famous, experienced and demanding cyclocross riders in Europe. The frame also incorporates the best design ideas that BH has already implemented and integrated into its top-level frames.
100% carbon monocoque The arrangement of the carbon fiber layup in the RX frame follows the same principles and concepts as those developed for the Ultralight frame, using a propriatery blend of high, medium and low modulus carbon to achieve the highest quality standards that BH and its riders require from all their frames.
Ciclocross BH - 2013 79
This completely new tapered 1.5 inch fork optimises tortional stiffness while providing the necessary precision in the headset, to prevent noise and vibration while braking. This combined with added tire clearance make for an unbeatable combination.
Rear legs. Dual attachment system The carbon rear dropouts incorporate an aluminium dual insert system which allows you to change the distance between the frame dropouts from 130 mm to 135 mm, depending on whether cantilever brakes or disc brakes are being used. If deciding to use disc brakes, the supporting pivot posts for the cantilever brakes can be removed from both the fork and the rear chainstay.

What you should bear in mind when choosing a wheel?
angle of attack The larger the wheel size the smaller the angle of attack. This means that the wheel sinks less in holes as it tends to pass over them The main advantage of using a larger wheel is that it’s easy to move over obstacles on the ground. It’s makes stones, branches and roots seem smaller than they should because in proportion to the size of the wheel, they are relatively smaller. When we face an obstacle it is as though the wheel needs to climb a small hill.
inertia A larger wheel requires more power to start, but once you’re moving, inertia provides longer momentum for each pedal stroke and the bike travels farther.
27.5”
27.5”
29”
29”
traction and cushioning A larger wheel provides a greater bearing surface on the ground, i.e. its “footprint” is larger This results, on the one hand, in greater tyre grip and lower likelihood of sliding. The traction of the 27.5” and 29” models is significantly higher than the 26”. Moreover, the greater surface area means that the wheel sinks less on soft surfaces, such as snow, mud or sand.
27.5”
29”
ride and handling The 29” bikes offer a more stable ride and the 27.5” provide better handling on descents Smaller wheels have the advantage of greater rigidity - so the 27.5” wheel provides for more aggressive use.
27.5”
29”
27.5”
acceleration and rotation Diameter and weight directly affect acceleration. It is more difficult to accelerate and brake with a larger wheel; rotation is also more difficult, but they maintain a higher top speed.

David Weagle. Engineer creator of the Split Pivot System The Lynx is designed by and for bikers. They are the full suspension machines that we always dreamt of riding. The Lynx range uses the innovative and successful Split Pivot platform. BH is the only European brand that has the patent of this innovative system developed by the prestigious engineer Dave Weagle. Split Pivot offers an extraordinary sensitivity and a great absorption capacity for rough ground, offering the sensation of having extra range in the ride.
What is Split Pivot technology? Split Pivot is a floating suspension system developed by BH based on traction, pedalling efficiency, handling and the bicycle’s rigidity. This system allows for separate action on three forces produced on the bicycle: pedalling, braking and suspension. The obtained result is maximum pedalling efficiency with consistent and progressive suspension. The advanced rear suspension of the Lynx allows it to have a greater range while being very lightweight.
85
In the Lynx, braking does not affect the distance covered by the rear wheel because suspension remains continually active when braking. There is improved grip when braking, thus offering the rider increased confidence.
Leverage Ratio. The Split Pivot suspension controls the acceleration and braking processes instead of the shock-absorber, offering a much more progressive Leverage Ratio.
Floating Mount. The shock-absorber is maintained in a floating position and moves when the suspension is in operation. This permits the desired progressiveness and achieves the desired suspension curve.. Lynx bikes need less platform in the shock-absorber since the Split Pivot notably improves the bicycle’s behaviour in small pot holes thanks to absorption properties in the areas where increased support is necessary without creating a rocking effect, offering the cyclist the needed range .

The shortest rear train on the market BH has managed to reduce the length of rear pods to only 430 mm converting the Lynx bicycle into the double suspension manufactured from carbon with the shortest rear train of the market. This important technological innovation developed by BH allows using tyres of up to 2.4 inches and any types of gears (2x or 3x). The compact geometrics of the Lynx 4.8 make it a very easy to handle and stable bicycle thanks to a low standover and bottom bracket height (330 mm).

Lynx 4.8 Carbon The Lynx 4.8 Carbon frame was constructed from a single piece of 100% monocoque carbon, offering uniformity to the entire frame and eliminating critical areas as there are no connection points between the tubes. The Lynx 4.8 was developed with HM (High Module T40, T30 and T24 of Toray) technology in order to offer increased rigidity with the same weight.
Lynx 4.8 Alloy The frame of the new Lynx 4.8 Alloy has been manufactured in triple thickness aluminium alloy 7005-T4, T6 that guarantees its strength, lighter weight and complete rigidity. The steering tube, the pedal box, the bridge, the cam, the feet are made from cold forged 7075 aluminium and provides for these area a better weight/resistance ration.

Optimum comfort level and lighter weight The Ultimate RC frame is manufactured out of high modulus T24 and T30 carbon under a process allowing for its precise compacting and moulding, evenly distributing the resin so as to filter any potential vibrations. In developing the Ultimate RC, BH worked closely with leading manufacturers of carbon fibre and resin to create a frame that offers optimal levels of comfort and weight.
EVO
BRAKE MOUNT
The construction of the tubes and the lay-up configuration of the carbon meant BH could produce a frame with an optimal geometry and minimum vibrations to guarantee the rider a high degree of comfort. Throughout the structure, the carbon fibres were arranged taking into account the weight and force they would have to withstand, with the aim of strengthening the delicate areas and lightening areas that don’t have to bear so much weight. The result is a top-of-the range frame which guarantees stiffness, lightness, strength, elasticity and maximum absorption
DIRECT MOUNT
The design and technology applied in the shape of its tubes and the curvature of the seat stays make the behaviour of the Ultimate RC agile, reliable, and comfortable.
103
All these enhancements made to the frame have enabled BH to build a highly rigid frame with a low weight of just 1,100 grams.
The Direct Mount front derailleur anchor. Increased rigidity The Direct Mount derailleur offers a high level of quality and reliability in the front derailleur anchor. Its development, fully integrated with the frame, gives greater rigidity and accuracy when shifting gears. The design makes adjustment extremely easy.
EVO Brake Mount System. Less vibration The chainstays have been developed specifically to accommodate the EVO Brake Mount system. Its optimum tilt angle reduces brake vibrations on the rear wheel, increasing braking power and reducing the annoying noise produced when braking. The new location in the chainstays protects the rear brake calliper from potential snags and knocks, thus increasing safety when racing.
Geometrics. Perfect for technical courses BH maintains the exceptional geometrics obtained by the Ultimate. Its shorter pods make it compact and agile. The combination offered by the design and carbon allow a higher level of comfort.

BRAKE MOUNT
Less vibrations The pods have been designed with a more specific curve and design to house the EVO Brake Mount that reduces the braking vibrations and increases the capacity of the braking system.
Technology Hydroforming technology allows BH to design attractive frames with high resistance and lightness coefficients while maintaining the maximum quality standards demanded by the brand in all of its models. Thus, the design of the Expert frames combines an extra stiffness in the lower part with a high level of comfort and flexibility in the upper tubes. This offers a great capacity for vertical absorption as well as lending additional lateral stiffness to the frame.
Conical integrated steering stem Integrated steering manufactured 100% from alloy notably increasing the torsion and lateral rigidity.
108
Geometrics. Great response and comfort sensation The Expert frame was inspired by the successful Ultimate range. Both models share the same geometry and the headset offers a comfortable and relaxed riding position for the cyclist. The geometrics have been specifically designed for a 27.5” bike, and allow the cyclist to compete with it and to enjoy leisure moments on the bike.
