Dear Friends,

Thank you! We appreciate your support during the summer and are particularly excited about the tremendous success of our Summer Concert Series. Nearly 1,000 tickets have been sold so far for our three concerts, and we’ve heard a lot of positive feedback. We’re already planning for next summer! This guide includes detailed information about the many wonderful events that are planned for the fall. On Monday, September 4, we will host our 4th Annual Big Truck Day from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. This popular event brings hundreds of community members together for food, games, music, and, of course, big trucks! From October 2 - December 31, we’ll celebrate the opening of our new gallery exhibition, “Jews of Africa.” Photographer Jono David presents 59 fascinating images portraying Jewish life in 30 African nations. Our 4th Annual Israel Film Series takes place in October with screenings on Oct. 3, 10, 17, and 24. The festival includes a wide variety of contemporary Israeli films, and we know you’ll enjoy both the movies themselves, as well as the follow-up discussions. There’s lots more! Don’t miss Israeli Dancing, the ORA Art Show, our Jewish Book Month events, the Jewish Community Orchestra concerts, our special celebrations for Sukkot and Chanukah, or the many other classes, talks, discussions, and social events that we’ve got planned. See you at the J!! Warmest Regards,

Steve Albert Executive Director
