GENERAL INFORMATION
Spring 2012: April 1 - June 16, 2012
Dear Friends, Spring has arrived in Portland. We are all looking forward to warmer temperatures and sunny days to fill our lungs with fresh spring air. At the MJCC we have worked hard to renew our commitment to arts and culture programming. This spring, you will find an assortment of wonderful opportunities, including new art classes in conjunction with our friends at the Geezer Gallery in Multnomah Village and a wonderful encore performance of the Jewish Theater Collaborative’s Café Baghdad. Of course, beginning in May (after a break in April over Pesach), we’ll bring back our increasingly popular Wednesday Bistro Nights. Everyone is welcome to join us for our Yom Ha’Atzmaut celebration (in honor of Israel’s birthday) and our ever popular Friday Night Lights event. We remain committed to providing you with wonderful fitness and sports opportunities as well and you’ll find an amazing array of great after-school classes, adult fitness workshops and even open play adult gym hockey. Don’t miss our second annual Stingrays Swim Team Aquathon. See page 17 for details. As always, we welcome your feedback and input on our programming. I look forward to seeing you at the J this spring!
