Editor’s Note ♥SPRING TIME♥

Finally!!! The spring has started to show its lovely face to us. This means we are now so much closer to the end of school year. Can you believe that? The summer vacation is right at the door. But yes…months leading up to that break are always the most difficult time to get through. Everyone will lack in sleep and full of stress. I just hope that all of us will survive and finish strong. I’m sure all your hard work will be paid off in the end. Not only that, I am so proud for all your service and spirit that was devoted for our club this year. As the year is summing up, I believe that many of you are still working on your stole hour. Just as a reminder: SENIOR STOLE HOURS are due MAY 3, and JUNIOR SOTLE HOURS are due MAY 10. Seniors must complete 90 hours and for Juniors 50 hours by the due dates. Not much time is left. Please consider attending most of upcoming events and recycling to finish up those hours quickly. Y’all deserve to be awarded. So, DON’T GIVE UP. YOU CAN DO IT!

♣I’LL SEE YOU AROUND♣ Guess what my friends…March newsletter will be the last one created by me as your bulletin editor of 2013-2014. I thank every single one of you who gave me this wonderful opportunity to serve as your fellow Officer, member, and friend. I have enjoyed so much throughout the year and I hope you guys felt the same way. Although it’s bittersweet, I believe that I had finished this year well. It has been the incredible year of my life. But this is not the end! It is just another beginning for me, you, and everyone. I’ll see you around serving in Key Club. Not to forget our wonderful elected officers; I look forward to their great abilities to lead our club to grow and better. I am so excited for them to enjoy the experiences I had as a Key Club Officer. Even though I must step down now, I will cherish every moment that I lived as your Bulletin Editor.

In the Spirit of Service, Dohee Lee BHS Key Club Bulletin Editor, 2013-2014

DAY 2 Teacher Appreciation Breakfast BHS Key Club Executive board members volunteered their time afterschool on April 19 in preparation for teacher appreciation event. We had so much fun together just cooking and talking. The following morning at 5:30 A.M., we gathered once again to serve the prepared meal to the teachers and staffs in Burbank High School. Burbank Kiwanis members has attended this event as well. We also invited the choir girls to come in and sing for the school staffs. It was such a valuable experience because we all were appreciated by the teachers and staffs. It was a great opportunity to serve them and have time with them outside of class time. It is a memory that none of us will forget.
