Editor’s Note THE SEASON OF BOOKS AND FALLING LEAVES It finally is the beginning of autumn! Lately, I’ve been falling in love with the most pleasant weather of the season. Within the breezes, I was so glad that many of you were looking forward to such a great year in Key Club. I was encouraged by the excitement and involvement from our members. Thus, I suggest that all of you enjoy and learn great Key Club virtues of CARING and LEADERSHIP throughout this year. To pursuit in these goals, Key Clubbers must be active and dedicated in our projects and services. I hope we can grow all together in experiences and smiles in the year of 2013-2013.

My position is called the Bulletin Editor and I am in charge of publicizing our club’s news and updates to our members. My job will be done mostly through newsletters and announcements. But whenever you need help in confusion about the Key Club or event, contact me in anyway. Feel free to just come and talk to me even. I would love to get to know you. Don’t worry, I don’t bite! p.s. More you are involved, More you’ll get out of it! In the Spirit of Service, Dohee Lee BHS Key Club Bulletin Editor, 2013-2014

BHS Key Club News Key Club was established in May 1925 in Sacramento, California by the local Kiwanis organization. Food Truck
Yogurtland Fundraiser
On Thursday, September 12, Key Club members attended Food Truck Night to help with set up and clean up. For the first part, members organized chairs and tables and placed heavy awnings. At night when the event was ending, Key Clubbers went back to undo the awnings and putting back chairs and tables to where they belong.
On Friday, September 13, Burbank High Key Club held a fundraiser at Yogurtland. From Officers to general members, we entered through the door of yogurt place with flyers in our hands. Key Clubbers enjoyed delicious dessert while supporting for our club. Members had quality time with each other on that afternoon.
College Fair On Saturday, September 28, Key Clubbers volunteered at college exhibition held for current high school students and their future. From 9AM-12PM, members were assigned at booths to help and organized. It was very crowded, but it was great in seeing students who were eager to go forward in their life and how professional people were in communicating with the students.
