Nestled into the western shoreline of Bay Harbor Lake stands our renowned Bay Harbor Yacht Club with its signature stone facade, cascading waterfall, lovely plantings, pillared arches and white picture-window frames. For nearly a quarter of a century, this gracious, architectural focal point overlooking Lake Michigan has served as the social center of the Bay Harbor community for boaters and non-boaters alike. In fact, award-winning boating, recreational, year-round family programming, and outstanding dining venues have ranked Bay Harbor Yacht Club among the premier membership destinations in the country, attracting members from around the world. The Club’s rich history of bringing together families and life-long friends is evident everywhere. Lively gatherings on our beach, spirited get-togethers over sunset cocktails on the Quarter Deck patio, weekly games groups, impromptu reunions over a workout in our fitness center – each demonstrates the essence of who we are, and what we do. From our stunning dining venues overlooking Northern Lake Michigan and points beyond, to our premier deep-water marina, fitness center, pool, private beach, racquet sports center, and quintessential Northern Michigan hospitality, our Club is an oasis for relaxing, recharging, and socializing in a truly private setting. Throughout decades of member-driven leadership, our number one priority has been that Bay Harbor Yacht Club continuously evolve to meet the changing needs of our current members, and those of the new generations of families, and prospective members. To be the best it can be, and to offer amenities and services that our members expect and deserve. In recent months, we have embarked on an expansive project to refurbish and renovate the entire Club and add world-class amenities and premier services to create one of, it not the finest, clubs on the Great Lakes. A place all members and their families will be proud to use and enjoy. Among of the project highlights that have us so excited: • • • • • • •
7,500 square foot Wellness and Fitness Facility offering a full suite of state-of-the-art fitness equipment and wellness services; spin room featuring Peloton bikes; Indoor golf simulator; group fitness rooms; personal training; virtual classes; and much more. “The Kid’s Club” activity center featuring year-round amenities and services. All-season indoor Grill Room with covered terrace, bar and wine display. A relaxation spa with three treatment rooms; men's and ladies locker rooms, each with a large steam room; and indoor and outdoor relaxation areas. New aquatics complex with enlarged pool and deck area; adjacent whirlpool; children's splash pad; and dedicated bath house with showers and lockers. Enlarged Quarter Deck outdoor dining venue with new gazebo bar, and casual eating places overlooking Bay Harbor Lake, including soft seating and firepits. Renovated main level dining with a gathering space, gorgeous wine display, and an expanded and relocated harbor-view bar.

THE WELLNESS CENTER Health and wellness are a predominant focus of the club’s renovation project. BHYC’s new Wellness Center was designed to be on the forefront of cutting-edge fitness trends. State of the art equipment and thoughtful programming for both adults and juniors provide members with the tools to achieve their fitness goals in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

THE GOLF SIMULATOR Bay Harbor Yacht Club's Wellness Center is home to a virtual indoor golf simulator from aboutGOLF. Members will be able to practice their form and perfect their swing year-round by playing virtual renowned courses from around the world, including local treasure, Bay Harbor Golf Club.

THE KID’S CLUB Located near the Club’s dining facilities and Wellness Center, The Kid’s Club is a place for junior members of all ages to call their own. They can kick back and relax with friends in a safe, protected and supervised area, while adults enjoy other areas of the Club.

HARBOR VIEW LOUNGE
The club’s bar in the main clubhouse has provided a wonderful gathering spot for comradery since 1996. Consistent throughout the years, members can always expect an extraordinary wine list, delectable menu options and exceptional service, along with seeing the club’s favorite in-house mare, Whinnie, perched at the end of the bar. Due to its popularity, the need for a larger space was identified and BHYC’s new Harbor View Lounge will be the newest hot spot to grab a beverage and meet for laughs, any time of the year. A new horseshoe design will provide members a front row seat to expansive views of the turquoise waters of Bay Harbor Lake and comfortable seats and flat screen TVs will make this venue the perfect spot to catch the game. Bay Harbor Yacht Club’s much anticipated newest dining venue is guaranteed to be a lively gathering spot for year-round fun! The Grille Room will offer a vast menu featuring classic casual fare including hamburgers and wings, as well as small plates, salads, steaks, and seafood. This restaurant will offer comfortable indoor as well as outdoor seating underneath the covered terrace.

RELAXATION SPA
The Relaxation Spa will be the perfect place, to rest, relax and rejuvenate. Members will be able to treat themselves to the many soothing and tranquil amenities and leave any stress behind with massage therapy and other luxury spa services. THE AQUATICS CENTER
Summer 2021 will make a big splash with the opening of the new Aquatics Center! Situated to the east side of the clubhouse and overlooking Bay Harbor Lake, members can choose to relax in the summer heat in a comfortable chaise lounge or elevate their heartrate by swimming laps in the competition length lap pool. Junior members can enjoy their own splash pad, separate from the main pool area.

With expansive views overlooking Bay Harbor Lake and a comfortable and casual atmosphere, members enjoy fresh, open-air dining all season long. Weekly features, musical entertainment, and a diverse menu enhance the experience. Additions will be incorporated to the Quarter Deck’s existing design, including an expanded bar, firepits and soft seating.
