The main aspect of designing the floor plan was the availability of natural light. The living room, the central space, is closed in by the more intimate functions.

The bedroom is separated by a translucent glass sliding wall. The sun shines in in the morning, due to the north-east facing windows. I separated the dry and a wet sections of the bathroom with a glass panel. The toilet is placed outside of the bathroom, leaving more room for the relaxation/leisure element of the space. The kitchen is placed in a built in cupboard so it can he hidden most of the time.
