The Painter's Home

The romantic town of Zebegény is situated at the bend of the Danube on a hill. Most of the town, including this plot have a picturecque view.

I designed communal sapces to be intesely connected while still having some more introverted parts. The gallery overlooking the living room is a place to look at the living room, the garden and the view.

The building is approachable from north and west, cars arrive from the north. Though the main entrance is near the walkway, there are several doors opening directry to the terraces and the garden.

The red brick facade is complimenting the sourrounding green nature, creating visual harmony.

Due to the sloping terrain even “first floor” rooms have direct access to the garden.
