CX 2024 Welcome Since our return to hosting the Charing Cross International Symposium (CX) in-person we have rapidly outgrown our previous venue, the Hilton London Metropole. We are delighted to announce that in 2024 CX will move the ExCeL Centre as Olympia remains under construction. This will allow us to expand and offer more on-site opportunities as outlined in this partnership guide. Whilst there will be many exciting changes to the CX experience, our hybrid approach to vascular education will not be altered. CX will be both in-person at ExCeL whilst livestreamed to our wider global audience. 2024 hails the start of a new three-year cycle of raising vascular and endovascular controversies in order to challenge the available evidence and reach a consensus after discussion with an expert audience. Our world-class faculty will focus on addressing the most pressing controversies affecting all aspects of vascular disease management across the core areas of our symposium: Aortic, Peripheral, Venous & Lymphatic, Vascular Access, Renal Interventions, the Hurting Leg, Acute Stroke and Vascular Trauma. The larger ExCeL Centre venue provides countless opportunities to improve all elements of CX including increasing the capacity of all three main plenary auditoria, offering greater flexibility with exhibition space and more readily available meeting rooms. We will return to the open workshop experience by hosting the Venous, Vascular Access and Aortic workshops in the centre of the Exhibition Hall for all to access. Industry will also have the opportunity to take individual training rooms which could be used for simulations or hands-on courses. Following on from the success of CX 2023 in engaging the next generation of vascular specialists, we will continue to champion Rising Star initiatives and encourage those still in their speciality training to actively partake in CX 2024. We look forward to welcoming you to CX Controversies Update 23 – 25 April 2024 and are keen to collaborate with you as we focus on presenting the highest-quality education to advance the management of vascular disease in the best interest of the patient.
