Based on Watching Words Move by Ivan Chermayeff and Tom Geismar, TyPoems is a small publication in which we were asked to visually express the actual meanings of the twelve words given.
There were certain restrictions and things to consider when designing this book, such as not being able to distort the type—although we were allowed to repeat and cut letters. Not only was it important to express the word meanings through their design, the book itself also required consideration into which words were placed together or alone.
