Big Bear Lake The freshwater lake is seven miles long and approximately one mile across at its widest point. Its average depth is 35 feet and there are over 22 miles of shoreline. Lake activities include fishing, waterskiing, jet skiing, sailing, kayaking, swimming, and boating.

At an altitude of 7,000 feet, Big Bear’s 300+ days of sunshine each year guarantee no “June Gloom” here! Summer temperatures average 77 degrees during the day and 45 degrees at night.
