Some of the finest freshwater fishing in California can be found in Big Bear Lake. There is an abundance of trout, bass, catfish, and blue gill to be caught. Big Bear Lake is also well known as a good trolling lake. You will need to have a fishing license, which can be purchased at sporting goods stores and marinas.
A number of picnic areas surround the lake. Bring your favorite sandwich and enjoy the day! S.S. Relief: Floating restrooms.
