Take four 4” squares for version 1 and sew them together into a four patch block. Repeat for version 2.
NOTE: All seam allowances are ¼”. Sew pieces right sides together.
Picnic Posy - B
•2 x 4” squares
•2 strips x 3 x 7½”
Sandwich backing 7½” square, cotton batting, INSUL BRIGHT batting and four patch square on top. Quilt them together with parallel lines.
Trim quilted piece to 6½” circle (template on page 4).

Take strips for the pockets and sew them together. Press seams, fold in half lengthwise.Sandwich batting between layers and quilt them together. Repeat for another set of matching strips. Place pocket strips parallel onto the potholder with ½” gap between them, pin all layers together and trim excess fabric.
Take 1½” x 24” single-fold binding strip. Start pining the binding from the top of potholder all the way around the edge. Sew the binding in place. Fold the edge of the binding to the other side of the pot holder and top stitch it in place. Use the end of the binding strip on the pot holder to form the loop for hanging
