She was looking for something that at times was found and at times was lost.

She feared the moment of absolute emptiness that, at a glittering oblivion of madness, laid down on her.

Like an always present shadow, her elusive and sharp as a blade thoughts, never abandoned her.

And in Never portrayed her darkest intentions trying to bury them under the hills, as bright as diamonds.

She searched for something she did not have, and in that searching found something that always possessed.

A shiver lived on her skin, she tried to get rid of it while burning it in the sun.

The intensity and the heat fueled Her and her yearning that as the last breath took her breath away.

THE INTERVIEW Francesca Ferrazzi A story of a young successful woman: career, determination & some precious advice to aspiring models.

How long have you been in the fashion world? Where this passion comes from?

My passion for fashion started at a very early age. My parents tell of when, already at 3 years old, I refused to wear clothes that I had not personally chosen!

My first shooting dates back to 14 years ago. I remember the excitement of the first time as it was yesterday!

A photographer saw me and asked me to do a photo test - my mother accompanied me because of the young age and since then she has always supported me in my career.

Then, at the age of 19, I abandoned this world for a year as a result of a couple of professional meetings went wrong.

I thought it was not for me and in order to pay my studies I worked as a bartender, store assitant and waitress.

But then, with greater maturity I realized that unpleasant and false professional situations exist in all sectors, and that my life depended only on my choices regardless of the work I was doing.

At that point, at the age 20, I restarted and I have not stopped since.

Tell us about your agency, what are you responsibile for?

I run the “Le Baccanti�model management and event organization agency.

We provide male and female models for fashion shows, fitting, showrooms, photo shoots and

hostesses for various events.

I must admit that I never thought, that in a few years, I would have the pleasure to work with leading global companies in various industries, like, for example, Ducati or Audi, Dorna, Carlo Pignatelli, Patrizia Pepe, Manuel Ritz, Celine B and many others, who I am grateful to, for their trust and support.

What are your future projects?

I’m working on the expansion of the agency’s services and we are building the new website which will be online by September.

I cannot anticipate the details, but I will certainly do everything possible to maintain the credibility gained to date and my aim is a continuous growth.

What does a girl who wants to start a career as a model need to know? Can you give some advice for an aspiring model?

Firstly, girls must understand that modeling is a job.

Reliability, perseverance and sacrifice are at the basics.

They should be guided by the experienced and serious people.

Girls should make an objective 22

analysis of themselves, their bodies and make the best of their strengths without falling into the sick vortexes of eating disorders or addiction to the plastic surgery.

And then a model, in addition to the perfect measures, must have determination and appeal that can not be bought at the plastic surgeon or magically appear by not eating.

They have to work on themselves constantly, inside and out.

Maria De Los Angeles Monari lives and works in Bologna, Italy after her experience in the fashion business in Milan, where she still has excellent working relationships.

After working as an assistant of two professional stylists, she decides to make her passion a lifestyle and gets an opportunity to work with the best fashion photographers.

Later in 2012 with Andrea Quarantotto, photographer and editor in chief, launches an online fashion magazine Up-and-Coming Style.

THE STYLIST

Maria currently works as a freelance stylist & event coordinator collaborating on several fashion, film and art projects. Recently she has been involved in teaching Fashion Communication & Styling at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna Italy.

“My dream is to become a talent scout and open an organization that gives support and value to emerging Italian and foreign designers”.

Born in Venice, Monica Volpato has been working as a makeup artist for more than two years. She graduated at “Art & Make Up School “ of Bologna, Italy, and then took a specialization course in hair styling.

As a make-up artist Monica works in different areas: photo shoots, fashion shows, theatre performances.

“The make up for me is first of all the enhance of the beauty of each person followed by care and sensitivity towards it”, - says Monica Volpato.
