Wed 27 – Sat 30 Oct 2021 Welcome to the 15th annual Hullabaloo! Offaly’s Children’s Arts Festival Hullabaloo! has evolved and there are plenty of ways that you can join in on the fun. We have Live, Zoom, Facebook, Pre-recorded workshops and shows, with 4 fantastic days to experience and discover our world of imagination and curiosity. Enjoy art, storytelling, animation, film, musical theatre, dance, paper folding, craft and much, much more. Hullabaloo! stimulates curiosity, originality and confidence. Have fun this mid-term break with an amazing array of activities and opportunities.

Teddy’s Halloween Adventure
- The Barking Dog Theatre Company Sammy Ragdoll wants to take her best friend Eddy the Teddy to a Halloween party but he’s feeling a bit frightened. The Canterville Ghost
- The Barking Dog Theatre Company The Canterville Ghost is based on Oscar Wilde’s short story for children about a family from America who move into a haunted house in England. They aren’t at all afraid and, indeed they play tricks with the frustrated ghost. Their daughter Virginia takes pity on the ghost and becomes his friend. With original music and audience participation as well as use of puppetry and mime, this is ideal for any Halloween, book, history, supernatural, music or drama fan. information Notes for Parents • All performances require children to be accompanied by an adult. We advise that Zoom workshops and pre-recorded workshops are supervised by an adult. Preschool children must be accompanied at all times. • We like to give as many young people a chance to experience our workshops. As Live and Zoom workshops have limited numbers, we would request that you only book one per child and then wait before booking additional workshops. • Children should wear comfortable clothes for activities and bring an old t-shirt for make and do workshops. • Children with allergies to any materials e.g. latex, should inform us at time of booking. • We have a child protection policy in place therefore age limit and participant numbers will be strictly adhered to in the interest of safety for all children. • You will be asked to sign your child in to all live workshops and leave your contact details with staff. Please ensure you are at the events at least 5 mins before the end of a workshop to be present when your child finishes. • All ground workshops are operating under up to date Covid-19 social distancing regulations. • Zoom workshops - please ensure that you log onto your Zoom workshop 5-10 mins prior to start. • Many events are for both children and parents and guardians, so please enjoy them too! • Due to the possibility of Covid-19 restrictions, we may need to cancel our Live and/or Zoom workshops.
