Campus Tours Interested in touring our campus? Guided tours will be available throughout the Open House program. Meet in front of the Our Lady of Lourdes Alumni Chapel to begin your tour. If you see something you like, feel free to pursue that and join another passing tour behind you when you’re ready to move on!
Athletic Training Center “ATC” Tours Visit our Athletic Training Center to see our state-of-the-art weight room and see where our student athletes train. The ATC also houses Ryan Hall on the second floor for meetings and social gatherings, as well as a nutrition center and lecture hall. ATC Tours will depart from the Activity Foyer, located between the Theatre and Main Gym.

Biology, Health, Human Physiology Room 320 Stop by to see what our Biology, Health and Human Physiology students have been up to. You’ll see projects that our students have been busy with, see our students construct a disarticulated skeleton and learn what these programs are all about.
Chemistry and Physics Room 317 Guests can drop in throughout the afternoon to see a double replacement reaction demonstration and to see the Van de Graaff generator in action. Don’t know what a Van de Graaff generator is? Stop by to see it and find out what else is electrifying our students this year.
Computer Graphics and Computer Programming Room 208 Stop by to get your questions on our computer programming classes answered and see students working on programmable robots used in competitions with other schools.
Mathematics Student Commons E-texts and online homework platforms are a large part of the Bishop Gorman experience. English Student Commons Literature comes alive: join the English Department for a literary party. There will be refreshments, costumes, readings, fun and answers. Teachers can answer questions about the difference between English 1 College Prep, English 1 Honors, and English 1 Scholars. Also, teachers can talk about department goals, curriculum, and their love of literature and writing.
Social Studies Room 111 What History, Economics and Government classes do our students find themselves in? Social Studies faculty members will walk visitors through the course offerings and expectations. Ask about Advanced Placement (AP) offerings in our Social Studies classes!

Over $70,000 was raised during Mite Box collections throughout the 2017-2018 school year, and subsequently distributed by our student-run Matthew 25 Board to those in need in the Las Vegas Valley. 10
Theology Visit to find out about the Theology program and course options, and learn about some of the exciting ways that our Theology teachers are supporting and enlivening the Christian mission of the school. Through an innovative blending of traditional Catholic theological instruction alongside direct Christian ministry, our students are living and learning the Gospel on a daily basis. Sample texts and syllabi will be available to preview and Theology faculty will be on hand to answer any and all questions!

Our Gaels Theatre Guild is nationally recognized with State and National Championships in Acting, Musical Theatre, Technical Theatre and travels to the Utah Shakespeare Festival and Tuacahn Center For the Arts every year. 14
PERFORMING ARTS 12:50 pm – 1:45 pm Main Entrance Members of the Varsity Band will be in uniform at the main entrance playing pep music from their repertoire. 1:10 pm – 1:40 pm Theatre Scenes will be presented from our Fall Arts Festival production of The Dancer’s Story: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. While Alice dances in the contemporary style as she magically grows and shrinks throughout her adventure in Wonderland, the other characters express their madness through the various dance styles of modern, pointe, musical theatre, swing, the circus arts, hip hop, tap, country 2-step, sign language and even belly dance! Students interested in both performance and technical theatre are encouraged to attend as this production is filled with original choreography and technical wonders! 1:45 pm – 3:00 pm Room 108 Members of the BGHS Student Orchestra will be performing and be available to answer questions about the Tri-Music Honor Society. 1:55 pm – 2:25 pm Theatre Advanced Theatre & Theatre Practicum will present various acting pieces as well as invite students to participate in improv games! Making this investment affordable may mean applying for tuition assistance. Tuition assistance is available for families that qualify. Parents must complete an online application and be verified by February 15, 2019, to be considered for the first award review. Awards are based on demonstrated need and the availability of funds.
