Earn Money from Facebook with the Right Content Marketing on Facebook has become essential today, especially with the numerous ways that people can log on to their accounts and check updates and share posts. People spend more hours a day on Facebook than any other social media site – they log on at home, at work, or even during vacation through their phones. Facebook has become a massive community with huge marketing potential that companies just can’t pass up on. But that doesn’t mean that everyone is making money on Facebook. In fact, while a lot of businesses are trying to get a slice of that billion dollar pie, there are certain mandates that companies end up ignoring when they try to earn money from Facebook. First off, marketing on Facebook, just like in any social media platform, is all about the right kind of content. If you think you can market directly on Facebook then you need to change your mind set. Facebook is about socializing which means that the kind of content that you share should be friendly, positive, useful, and something that people will take the time to check out. Creating engaging content changes with the platform that you post it in so what’s engaging on your product website might not be appropriate on Facebook. To earn money on Facebook, you need to be more sociable and open and friendly; not so different as you would be in your personal Facebook page. For example, if you have a dog training and grooming business, don’t be afraid to introduce some of the dogs that you have on your page. Give tips on how they can take care of their dogs better at home; post it in a picture format with the words embedded in. With those thoughts in mind, here are some tips to help you get those likes and shares. 1. Pictures are the most shared type of content on Facebook. While you shouldn’t limit yourself to pictures (videos are good once a month and articles should be short and simple), producing high quality pictures for posts will work to your advantage. By quality, we mean appealing and engaging. Mix it up a little; add a few catchy lines of text. 2. A majority of people who share say that they share posts to connect with people who have the same interests, to offer information that they think will be useful to their friends, and to support a cause. In a nutshell, they share to socialize. When you’re creating posts, don’t leave out the social and even emotional aspect of it. 3. Infographics can boost traffic by up to 12%. Studies show that they are very effective in sharing information. But because you’ll be posting it on Facebook, make it more fun and interesting. Don’t you dare post a simple pie graph! With these things in mind, you can tweak your Facebook business page to help you gain a larger following and to earn money on Facebook.
