CHAMBER EDC RECEIVES RWIP GRANT

The Chamber EDC was recently awarded a Regional Workforce Impact Program (RWIP) grant through the North Dakota Department of Commerce.

The $15 million in state-wide funding for the RWIP was made available from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The RWIP grant was designed to empower locally led solutions to workforce challenges.

The Chamber EDC was awarded $44,663 to help offset the costs of a new workforce specific website, mobile app, and printed new community member welcome packet. These tools will provide resources to community members that are new to Bismarck Mandan or are interested in living here.

Currently the Chamber EDC is working with a developer to design these tools with a scheduled launch date in May.
