MU-DANZAS BOLERAS 1812 - 2012

VENUE: Manoel Theatre Valletta

DATE: 9th and 10th June 2023

ONLINE: booking.teatrumanoel.com.mt

Mu Danzas Boleras is produced and directed by the late Sharon Sapienza Foundation, whose mission was to revive the ‘Escuela Bolera’ repertoire, through the traditional music reworked by Agustin Diassera and Paco Cruzado.

The Malta performance of this rhythmic, virtuoso and eye-catching production is performed by an exquisite cast of professional dancers and choreographed by Francisco Velasco. Based on the dances of the Pericet family, it spans 200 years of Spanish history, making it a refreshing and vibrant interpretation of this unique artform whilst preserving the essence: A passion for dance!
