This son of JDH AH Prominent and a Line 1 Hereford cow has what it takes to put growth into calves with carcass characteristics that will please anyone selling cattle on a carcass grid. He also will sire daughters that will have the right udder and teat conformation with the ability to add pounds to her calf through her maternal abilities. Can’t get any better than being in the top 1% for both BMI and CHB indexes! He is heterozygous polled.

Another solid son of JDH AH Prominent 21G ET. The dam of Lot 31 has done more for the Spring Pond Herd than any other cow in our 60+ years of breeding Hereford cattle! She has earned the coveted status of Dam of Distinction by maintaining less than 365 day calving interval and her calves average ratios of 90% BW, 105% WW, 103.5% REA, and 101% IMF. Her first son, SPF B413 Guaranteed 11G has been selected for the AHA young sire testing program.Lot 31 is halter broke, and was shown in the NYHBA 2022 Futurity Bull Show, where he was named Grand Champion as a calf. Homozygous Polled.

Lot 32, a JDH AH Prominent 21G ET son, will work well for the progressive breeder who wants to build an efficient and moderate cowherd with the ability to create high-choice cattle in a forage-based setting. He is a “cow” bull meaning his calves will be born stout, rugged, and wellmuscled. His maternal grand dam continues to be one of our favorite cows, and her daughters appear to be making a significant impact in our breeding program. Homozygous Polled.

After the driest summer in Spring Pond history, Lot 33’s two-year old dam brought in a bell-ringer with an adjusted weaning weight of 693 lbs. with a weaning weight ratio of 113! In addition, she bred back within 60 days and maintained a calving interval of less than 365 days. Kaizer is the kind of bull who would work very well on a group of Angus cows, as we believe he will absolutely excel at siring Red or Black Baldy calves…the steers will have considerable pay weight at the end of the summer, and his daughters will be efficient, fertile, and will be very functional and practical. Heterozygous Polled.

If you are looking for a really high-end calving easy “heifer” bull, give Lot 34 a serious look! His sire is our bred and owned all-star who is one of 20 bulls in the United States selected to participate in the AHA Young Sire Testing Program. His two-year old dam nurtured him during a very dry summer to an impressive 659 lb. Adj. weaning weight! Lot 34 will produce cattle with a lower dry matter intake (DMI) while producing cattle with way above average carcass qualities! Lot 34 is proof you don’t have to sacrifice growth or carcass merit when selecting a low birthweight bull. Homozygous Polled.
