“Love God, Love yourself, Respect yourself, Respect others, Love your sister…. Ride your motorcycle!” SHOW-STOPPER

PRESIDENT F.I.E.R.C.E. LADY RYDERZ MC DALLAS, TX

Q. Give us a brief history of your club... A. F.I.E.R.C.E Lady Ryderz is an all female Motorcycle Club that was founded in October of 2008. The visionaries were a group of exceptional women who were determined to make a lasting impact on the motorcycle community while being an asset to the respective communities in which they served. The groups’ high level of respect and motivation makes it unique. We are ladies… that ride! Q. What’s the club’s mission or motto? The F.I.E.R.C.E Lady Ryderz always put God first. We are more than an individual person. Together we stand with pride. Respect for each other is mandatory. Division is not an option. We are sisters, 1 Club, 1 Voice and 1 Roar of our pipes. We are F.I.E.R.C.E…Females Inspiring Empowered Ryderz with Class and Elegance! Q. What was your biggest challenge as a Female MC? A. We have faced the usual challenges that lady riders face, but we strive to overcome those challenges by respecting our set, respecting our club, respecting each other, building a sisterhood that is unbreakable and most importantly riding our bikes! Q. What type of member do you seek? A. F.I.E.R.C.E. Lady Ryderz are God fearing, family oriented women. Ladies interested in F.I.E.R.C.E Lady Ryderz Motorcycle Club must have the same values. They must be F.I.E.R.C.E, honor the club mission, value sisterhood and ride their bikes. Q. What should a woman look for in an club? A woman should look for a place that they can

call home. A club that knows the meaning of sisterhood and what it means to be a sister. You should share the same values, interests, and respect for one another. Most importantly a club that rides their bikes. Q. What annual events do you promote? F.I.E.R.C.E. Lady Ryderz do not promote any specific events. However, we love to ride our bikes and we enjoy networking, building relationships and meeting new riders. You might find us participating in the “International Female Ride” weekend events wherever they are hosted, at the National Biker Round Up, or in a city near you! Q. What are your favorite cities or roads to ride? We love visiting Atlanta and New Orleans, but we can go from riding the back roads in our area hitting the curves to enjoying the open highway. You might see us on I-20, I-35, or I-45 riding either direction. Q. What is your criterion for membership? - Members must be F.I.E.R.C.E, they must honor the club mission, they must support the club vision, and value sisterhood. - Membership is voluntary. - Members must have a motorcycle. - Members must ride their motorcycle. - Members must have a valid driver’s license with the (M) motorcycle endorsement. - Members must maintain insurance as required by state law. Q. Are there any last words you’d like to leave us with? Love God, Love yourself, Respect yourself, Respect others, Love your sister….ride your motorcycle!

very so often, a dynamic person is born. Suicide definitely fits the bill. As the Founder & President of Blaque Pearls MC, and editor of the popular Sucka Free WMC facebook page, Suicide is a biker in the truest sense. A Harlem native and certified ground pounder, she is known for traveling on ground from New York to California and back. In 2014, she completed a coast to coast Iron Butt Challenge, traveling from Harlem to California in just 72 hours. You won’t catch her blinged out while riding. Instead, you’ll find her all blacked out, rough and always ready to roll. She’ll tell you that real riders get dirty! Suicide joins the Black Girls Ride team as a monthly contributor, featuring stories on her travels. We are proud to announce her as the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Honoree for our 3rd Annual Beautiful Bikers Celebration, on November 21, in Los Angeles. Catch up, as she takes us on her journey to the 2nd Annual Bessie Stringfield Ride in Jacksonville, FL. Words by Suicide, as posted on Sucka Free WMC:

Where Everybody At? Several months ago info was put out for an all female ride to honor Bessie Stringfield, hosted by Outcast Property’s. Cool. I’m there. I’ll lead a group out of the north down 95 into Florida. Blasted the flyer on my club page and had all kinds of responses. Hot damn. The women will be taking over the highway. That’s what the fuck I’m talking about. And then the day came. Where Everybody At? You know the deal ladies. It sounds good in the beginning. Everyone is gung-ho. And then...

Fuck it. I’m riding. One of my club sisters joined me Wednesday, and we head out to DE for the night. Cut 2 hrs out of our ride on Thursday. We up and out on Thursday. It’s a small pack, 4 women on iron. I’m disappointed we didn’t have the group I had anticipated. But that’s ok. We can make better time. Let’s do this. The ride was good. We took extra time at the gas stations talking and laughing. That is rare for me. I generally ride solo on long distance trips. I have a specific time line and my anal ass stays to it. Gas, Pee, Go. But I’m working on that now. We stopped for a long lunch - something else I don’t ever do. Few sisters met us just to fellowship for a couple hours. Of course no motorcycle club vests allowed in this establishment. Unfortunately, I didn’t eat because I was to busy dropping my id into the toilet (pre-pee), washing things off and drying them. Relevant to my story later. Back on the road our small pack goes. Time is irrelevant and that was a great feeling. Thunder behind us and we hit the throttle. Now mind you, traveling through VA always makes me nervous because of the intense presence of law enforcement waiting to ticket any and everyone. But here comes my sister (different patch) pulling up next to me revving her throttle. Hell Yeah!!! Off we go. Well, off she goes being that she’s on the Kawi ZX10R packed for a weekend. Me and Dirty Dirty got the house with us lol and needless to say I lost the race before it got started. But in my head...I was on my old Kawi getting it in. Imagination is a wonderful thing.

and back under more dark clouds and rain. We rode out of that storm and air dried our pants. We arrive to our destination safe and semi dry. A brother is being sent to us to fix the brake lever on the bike that tipped. A couple sisters are driving over to take us to a diner to eat. Good times with good people and folks looking out. Exactly what a road trip should entail. And me being hungry from lack of lunch was ready to go.

Cross into NC thinking we beat the rain behind us. Uhhhh...nope. We hit Durham and the skies opened up. Heavy and hard. Pull over under an overpass. Full face helmet wearer can’t see. Rain jackets get out on. Oh shit a bike tips over - stopped on a slant. My sister is good. The bike is good enough. Let’s hit it. We stay in the tire tread lines on the road, eyes fixated on the tail light of the car in front, heading towards the blue sunny skies we can see miles ahead of us. Until we go into a curve

Now here’s the strange part of my story. Mind you I have been in NC plenty of times and never had an issue. I realize there is racial strife in the area by the bits and pieces of the news I do hear from others (haven’t watched the news in months). Bunch of loud little fuckers in and around the diner. There’s a club near by. I’m already annoyed - don’t like crowds, especially young and loud. Me and a sister get up to use the bathroom. I walk out of my section and quickly surmise there are two sections in this diner. Two rows in and there’s only white people. Half way in it hits me. Oh shit, they got a white and black section. Get the fuck out of here. We get back to the table and I ask the waitress. Because I’m ignorant like that. Sure enough she confirms there are two sections. And everyone up in there was as fine as could be, comfortable and complacent in the 1950’s. Fuck outta here. I finish my food and I’m going outside. I’ll wait there for everyone else to finish. One of the reasons I love the direction this page has gone, is the diversity in our SFWMCommunity. We cross racial lines by embracing this culture as ours not as a white, black or brown thing. It belongs to all of us and the traditions and protocols encompass all of us. Our brother page often has deep conversations along racial issues in this community, not always good but necessary. Perhaps we will touch on that topic on occasion. Conversation is the forefront to change.

Alright. Race lecture over. Back to the love of a ride. The day was good. Our ride was good. The sisterhood and fellowship was good. This is the way a ride should start. If only the four of us because I just don’t know where everybody at? Suicide Eternal Student

et’s take a sneak peek at the Concept 101, BMW’s breathtaking bagger. When the inital photos of BMW’s Concept 101 hit the motorcycle community, they broke the internet. The elegant custom craftsmanship put the Concept 101 firmly at the top of everyone’s “Gotta Have It” list. The Concept 101 is the BMW Motorrad interpretation of endless highways and the dream of freedom and independence - the perfect embodiment of “American Touring”. Known for sophisticated sport touring and street bikes, the Concept 101 is BMW’s first interpretation of the Bagger silohuette. “To Me, the Concept 101 is the epitome of elegance, power, and luxury on two wheels,” says, Edgar Heinrich, Head of BMW Motorrad Design. The number “101” indicates the capacity of the six cylinder engine - 1659 cc is approximately equivalent to 101 cubic inches. This engine provides a riding experience full of power and tranquility. The number also signifies it’s California roots, as it was designed in Newbury Park, CA - near Highway 101, at the studio of Designworks. BMW got together with Designworks to create a concept motorcycle that would reflect a whole new touring philosophy. “We had a clear vision when we were designing the bike: under the motto “The Spirit of the Open Road” we wanted to build a high performance, emotional, and highly exclusive 6-cylinder vehicle that would make every ride a special experience. A bike that would make the moment so special, you would forget your destination,” explains Ola Stengard, BMW Motorrad’s Head of Vehicle Design.

Roland Sands worked In close collaboration with the BMW Motorrad design team to assembled the exclusive parts of the "Concept 101". BMW Motorrad and the custom bike specialists have worked together successfully for several years, having completed inspiring projects such as the Concept Ninety, for example. Their familiarity with the scene and and history offered by BMW Motorrad make for an exciting partnership. Roland Sands put together the many parts of the BMW Motorrad "Concept 101", elaborately producing individual elements exclusively by hand. As a result, signature machine parts such as the clutch cover, timing chain cover and wheels all bear the RSD logo, discreetly bearing witness to a collaboration that has proved successful for many years. The material finish and technical design are state-of-the-art, thereby reflecting in detail the fundamental BMW Motorrad statement: precision and emotion. Inspired by the never-ending highways, the feeling of freedom and sheer independence, the BMW Motorrad design team came up with a completely new approach to touring motorcycles with their Concept 101: elegant, exclusive, extroverted and pure cruising power. While chasing the spirit of the open road, a powerful, emotional and highly exclusive six-cylinder bike was born that turns every ride into a unique driving experience. We’re waiting with baited breath to see if the Concept 101 will make it into production!
