Greetings Theatre Lovers, This is the time of year when we start to pine for warmer days with hours and hours of sunlight. During midwinter, the Black Hills Playhouse starts to permeate our thoughts, and we hope yours, too. To be sure, excitement is building as we approach the fantastic 70th theatre season in Custer State Park! Our 2015 line-up is wonderful and, we promise, you won’t want to miss a single show. From the timeless drama of To Kill a Mockingbird, the romantic and charming musical, She Loves Me, to hilarious productions of Shrek the Musical, and Moonlight & Magnolias, we know you won’t be disappointed! Company auditions have started and we are working diligently to gather the best talent suited to bring these fantastic shows to life on our stage. See you this summer,

JUNE 12-28, 2015 Classic Drama

Scout, a young girl in a quiet southern town, is about to experience the dramatic events that will affect the rest of her life. The play centers on the feisty, fearless Scout, race relations in the South and the relationship of Scout's father, Atticus, with his daughter.
