Dear Friends: Doesn't seem like that long ago that we wrapped the 2015 season and here we are already immersed in putting 2016 together! It promises to be another fantastic season of shows at the BHP and we hope you will join us. There are some exciting things to look forward to: • New Electrics & Sound System! Thanks to many of you, our antique electric systems will be upgraded and new sound system installed by the time the season starts, which should be a significant improvement in the theater. • Broadway Playwright! The incredible lyricist and playwright, Bill Russell, (Tony award nominee Side Show), originally from Deadwood and Spearfish, is returning to South Dakota and joining our company to direct his hilarious musical comedy, Pageant. What an awesome opportunity for our young professionals and for our audiences. • Repertory! This year, we are trying something new by running Pageant in repertory with Nunsense (performances will alternate throughout the run). That means visitors to the park can see two shows in one week. We are scouring the land to assemble the best ensemble of talented players and technicians for the season. Last year we had a number of sell out performances, so don't wait until last minute to get your reservations! Can't wait to see you this summer!
