LARA OOQZA How would you describe your style? I can't attribute my style to any of the existing styles. I call it the Japanese horror. I'm inspired by ancient Japanese prints, Japanese beliefs and mix it with modern Japanese animation. How has social media influenced your tattooing? At the beginning of my practice, the social network gave me to understand the already established level of quality of tattoos and the fact that my style will highlight my works from the billions. Social networks helped me to remove the frames that sounded like "I'll do what the customers want, it's in demand" and give myself to creativity. "You

If you could tattoo any person, living or dead, who would it be, and what would you tattoo on them? I can't single out a specific person, because I don't decide whom to give it to. I'm glad to every customer and it's interesting for me to work with their ideas and give them mine, because they trust me. Most of all I like drawing demons, so I think I would give it. Who would you like to get tattooed by? From my first favorite tattoo artist Pari Corbitt. I've been following him for 5 years. I like to watch the development of his style. And of course it's Kelly Violet (kellyviolence), she's amazing! Do you make other art? Now I plan to make my site with stickers, pins, T-shirts and bags. I'm learning to play the guitar anew. Once I had findo what you want" is my motto now. After all, what you do from the heart always turns out great, because you put your strength and yourself into it.
ished a music school, but it was so long ago that I had time to forget everything. I'm learning languages, probably this is not art, but this is my favorite hobby.

VAN PRIEGONOVA How would you describe your style? It's basically blackwork, since it's all black ink. The way I draw and the way I do designs for a tattoo is always thinking in black or in grey scales. Also, it's heavily influenced by antique engravings, medieval art and classic paintings. How has social media influenced your tattooing? My experience in the industry and with tattooing itself is very little until now- I've only been tattooing for two and a half years. So social media has been there from my beginings. Instagram, for example, has been an amazing tool to share my work and also to be able to get to know more amazing tattooers that I can learn from. If you could tattoo any person, living or dead, who would it be, and what would you tattoo on them? I would love to tattoo my grandmother, whatever she wants. Who would you like to get tattooed by? I think there's a lot of great tattooers, but at the moment I would love to get a piece from Abby Drielsma, which is an Australian tattooer that I admire a lot. Do you make other art? At the moment, I am concentrating only on tattooing.

IVAN MORANT How would you describe your style? My style is based on realism in black and white, creating my own designs from real pictures mounted on each other to create original pieces. How has social media influenced your tattooing? It has allowed me to share my work with a lot of people from different places and personal preferences. In addition, I have the opportunity to learn from other artists and improve my own designs. If you could tattoo any person, living or dead, who would it be, and what would you tattoo on them? It would be an honor to tattoo any of the famous tattoo artists that I admire, since that would mean that they value my pieces in the same way. Who would you like to get tattooed by? I would like Ryan Evans to tattoo me. I like his designs, his technique and the healing process of his works. He inspires me. Do you make other art? Yes, I enjoy drawing comic illustrations in my free time because it really grabs my imagination and inspires me for my work.

LITA EDWARDS
Jacque’s Gypsy Lace Bra
MA STE C TO M Y
J
acque is a trooper!! Her scarring is very prominent, not centered and run across the top as well as the bottom of the breast. A very large patch of radiation burn left its mark on the top left breast, making it extremely sensitive and difficult to tattoo with its varying texture and surface. This was the worse radiation burn I have seen to date, and getting the surface completely tattooed took 3 sessions. The skin tissue gets swollen, irritated and painful very quickly, limiting the amount of work I could do in a single sitting. Every case is different, and needs planning time when it comes to larger tattooed pieces such as her lace gypsy bra, and other images covering scars and burns. In the image below you will see the radiation burn I was referring too, and some of the damage left behind. A few weeks before we began, the surgeon reopened the center scar to get it to heal to a flatter surface, as it was raised. Healing time for this is not as long as waiting for the actual procedure scars, so we are still able to finish within a 2 month time line. in her words
“
I THINK ITS SO AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL, THAT I WILL SHOW IT TO ANYONE WHO APPRECIATES FINE ART AND EVEN THOSE WHO DON’T.
”
My story is like a lot of other women. Diagnosis, double mastectomy, chemo-therapy, and radiation. Right from the beginning I knew I wanted pretty breasts after all this. I had expanders put in, then 3 operations. I initially opted for 3-D nipple tattooing instead of nipple reconstruction, and began scanning tattoo websites where I saw some bra tattoos. Immediately I knew that was more “me”. Now, I just had to find an artist that was artistic person, not just someone who could run a needle machine. I came across Legacy Blue Tattoo Studio and was checking out different artists when “Lita” came up. Just looking at her work I was pretty sure she’d be the right person for me, so I made an appointment to meet with her. I dressed as I always do with a lot of Native American turquoise and silver jewelry, black t-shirt and skirt, took a few pictures that I liked, one of a full bra tattoo, and one a full back piece tattoo of “The Day of the Dead”, very lacy and detailed. We talked and when I returned a couple of weeks later, in front of me on a sketch pad was her version of a lacy black bra with turquoise stones and beads, just for me. She had read me perfectly! I couldn’t wait to get started. I think its so amazingly beautiful, that I will show it to anyone who appreciates fine art and even those who don’t. When I look in the mirror everyday I smile and I’m happy. The railroad tracks of scars have disappeared along with the bad memories. I’m so, so happy. Thank you, Lita.

MARCO BORDI How would you describe your style? I describe my style as a mix of serigraph and halftones, mixed with dots. This way I can reproduce any subject, both real photos and digital graphics.
How has social media influenced your tattooing? Social media has greatly influenced my way of working thanks to the comparison they have created with other tattoo artists from other parts of the world. Seeing tattoos performed by masters creates a comparison that is good

for my own growth. If you could any tattoo, what would it be? I would have liked to tattoo Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix or Gandhi. Nothing in particular, I would have liked to just spend some time and talk with them.

Who would you like to get tattooed by? I would love to be tattooed by many tattoo artists such as Lewisink, Peter Lagergren or Jun Cha, but unfortunately I do not have much free space on my body. Do you make other art? Mainly in addition to the dotwork portraits I do geometric dotwork, but I really like experimenting and trying to mix different styles.
