The new service year is officially in session! Congratulations to the new board!! To the old board, thank you so much for all that you have done in Key Club, you will forever be part of our Key Club Family! I cannot wait to see how this year unfolds and how our club will grow and succeed in the coming months. May was a month full of wonderful events, ranging from blood drives to ice cream parties. We have gathered to lend a hand to various organizations and individuals within Bloomfield. A big thanks to the advisors and all who made this possible. PRESIDENTS' LETTER Hey Key Club! Our names are Andrew LoMonte and Nick Polidoro, and we would like to officially introduce ourselves as the 2022-2023 Key Club Presidents! We are juniors going into senior year, and are so excited to get to work on this upcoming service year! It’s been amazing getting to see Key Club make a comeback this year from the pandemic shutdown, and we wanted to take this time to thank Caitlin Ennis and Michelle Escobar (2021-2022 Key Club Presidents) for their service to this club and help throughout this year. Recently, our club has volunteered for a lot of great events, including the Kiwanis Blood Supply Drive, Kiwanis Ice Cream Social, and the Forest Glen Family Fun night. We are currently looking forward to our annual Car Wash on June 11th and our Banquet to commemorate the end of the year. Looking back on this year, we are so proud of the efforts put forth by all of our members to make this such an awesome year. MIDDLE SCHOOL INFORMATION SESSION
The Key Club Board visited BMS to explain what Key Club is, introduce the new board members, and explain each of their roles and how they contribute to Key Club.

KIWANIS BLOOD DRIVE On May 9th, our members helped out Bloomfield's Kiwanis blood supply drive. They provided snacks and helped clean up. Thank you for your help and for making a difference in our community.

KIWANIS FAMILY ICE CREAM SOCIAL
Key Clubbers attended Bloomfield's Kiwanis' Ice Cream Social. It was a KFamily event where Key Club, Builders' Club, and K-Kids presented their accomplishments over the year. After presentations, we got to eat ice cream and connect with the different club members.

The District Project is a way for Key Club to make a difference towards a certain cause every year. This year, our District Project is focused on education and stopping the widening of the learning gap. Our goal is to help others reach their full educational potential. Stay tuned for future service opportunities!

ADVOCACY FOCUS
Health Conditions & Disease Awareness
Our Advocacy Focus is a way for us to raise awareness for specific relevant issues. This year, we are focusing on various prevalent diseases in America. For May and June, we are focusing on ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), which is when someone gradually loses control of their muscles.
