I want to congratulate the new board and say an official goodbye to our old board. You will always be our Key Club family. The month of May was a very fun month with lots of events and opportunities to earn service hours. Our Key Club got the chance to walk in the Memorial Day Parade and had loads of fun. Thank you to our advisors and the town of Bloomfield for allowing this to take place. June has many more fun events headed such as the car wash on June 12, 2021. Check slide 5 for more information. A warm welcome to our new presidents
Presidents Letter Hello Key Clubbers,
I’d like to introduce you to your new Presidents for the 2021-2022 Service year. Our names are Michelle and Caitlin. We are both Juniors going into our Senior year as your Key Club Co-Presidents and we couldn’t be any happier. We know things have not been the easiest and staying at home has been the hardest to deal with most of all. Luckily, this year we are able to do more things in person and we are more than grateful that COVID is not ruining the Key Club fun. We all know that doing things virtually isn't the greatest but because things are getting better, we are overjoyed with being able to see old and new faces! We are eager to get this year started by having car washes, one of our all time favorite events that gets everyone together and over the moon. We personally love the car wash because it’s a perfect time to get to meet new people and reunite with your Key Club friends. We both want the best for this club and want to bring this Key club family back together stronger than ever! We both know that this comeback is going to be great and we hope that you’re all here to be a part of it. We definitely want to put some ideas together and start new traditions this year. We want this year to make up for the year that was unfortunately taken from us by surprise. Charlize and Gwen, you’re Copresidents for the 2020-2021 Service Year did their absolute best to keep you guys in the loop and get some events virtually together to keep this club running and for you all to receive your hours! Our Key Club board is extremely proud of their perseverance and dedication taking on this club as not only Presidents but virtually! We only wish that this year will have positive vibes and be full with new and old events. We as your Presidents can only control so much but we do want you guys to know that we are ready to take on this year with your interests at heart! You Key Club members keep this club going and we are so thankful to have a group of people who are not only helping others in the community but changing the world one step at a time. Reminder, “The highest of distinctions is serving others” said by King George VI.
