BHS Key Clubbers, As summer comes to an end, it's interesting to see how much you have (or haven't) done the past couple months compared to what you would during the school year. Maybe you went and traveled more than you could with schoolwork, or maybe you did the opposite and just relaxed while you could. Maybe you worked and earned some money that will most likely be gone before Thanksgiving. Whatever it was, I hope everyone enjoyed it because Key Club is ready to go back into full swing and have exciting events for members to jump back into. See you all soon! Yours in caring and service, Jamianne Kelly BHS Key Club Bulletin Editor

Dear Key Clubbers, With school quickly approaching we have started to prepare and plan for many different events this year. First, on September 11th we will be holding an Information Session where students can come sign up for Key Club as well as learn more about our club. This event will also be a great way to meet other Key Clubbers and make new friends. Shortly after, on September 15th, we will be holding a car wash to fundraise. This is always lots of fun, and another great way to get to know more members of the club. On September 28th, there will be a Coffeehouse at Oakeside Manor where people can perform, socialize, eat, and drink coffee, with all of the proceeds going to charity. Finally, on September 29th, we will be collecting cereal box donations outside of Brookdale Shoprite to donate to the Montclair Food Pantry. We are hoping for a great start to the service year with all of these wonderful service events for new and returning Key Clubbers to attend.

Yours in caring and service, Juliana Cianciotta and Sienna Tyransky BHS Key Club Presidents bhskeyclubpresident@gmail.com

Many of Bloomfield's current board members have been to Fall Rally, and can attest to how much fun the day is. We hope you can join us this October for Fall Rally, which will be taking place during Fright Fest at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson.

Back to School

A LOOK BACK

2017 Membership Night

The 2017-18 service year provided many laughs, memories, and delicious food. We held multiple bake sales where members brought in baked goods for hours, raising money for our club. We held our annual Thanksgiving Dinner with the Builder's Club, providing dinner for local senior citizens. Overall, the Bloomfield High School Key Club aided their community in a multitude of ways, enjoying the time it took to work together. It was a busy year, yet not as busy as the 2018-19 service year will be.

2017 Thanksgiving Dinner FOR 2018-19 This upcoming year, Key Club has a packed schedule filled with hour opportunities and interesting events. From another coffee house September 28th, to a possible obstacle course with the middle school in January, Key Club is sure to keep members entertained. We will be holding Key Traits for kids yet again, and combining it with Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, which many can remember from elementary school themselves. Our Thanksgiving Dinner will be on November 20th, with a craft fair the next week on December 8th. A Cupcake War will be held December 13th to raise money for the Food Bank, so be ready to bake. February will be filled with preparations for DCON in March, but things will be certain to pick back up with our annual Glow-in-the-Dark Volleyball Tournament. In addition to these events, there will be events where Key Clubbers are requested to attend by other organizations for more hours.

FALL ATHLETES

Any sport can be a hassle to balance with school and practice. However, it does not mean you can not also do Key Club. Many of the Board Members of Key Club are in sports, some year round. It is possible to participate in both sports and Key Club as well as maintain good grades. If you need help, feel free to talk to a teacher or ask a board member about how to balance your schedule.
