BHS Key Clubbers, Welcome back to school and back to fall! We have already hosted two successful events and helped with others as well. It will be a busy year, but it provides more opportunities to be a distinguished member with 20 or more hours. For those coming to Fall Rally, you will not receive hours but will have a day of fun with the board and other Key Clubs. Take pictures and send them to me however you would like for a chance to be in the next editorial. As Halloween approaches, the Civic Center requests Key Clubbers to help with events. Have spooky fun in the fall. Yours in caring and service, Jamianne Kelly BHS Key Club Bulletin Editor

Dear Key Clubbers, September has been a wonderful month of service! With everyone coming back to school we were able to really kick off the year with many different events. On September 11th we had an information session where many new and returning members signed up for the new year. Then soon after, on September 15th, we held a Car Wash. Many new members came to help wash cars from 10am to 2pm. We had lots of fun and were even able to raise $980. On September 28th, we hosted a Coffeehouse where people could come perform, watch their friends perform, socialize, eat baked goods, and drink the coffee provided for only a $5 admissions fee. We were able to have around 80 people attend, raising $400 for Tomorrows Children’s Fund. Right after, on September 29th, we held a Cereal Drive outside of Brookdale Shoprite. Here we were able to collect 243 cereal box donations and $193 to be donated to the Human Needs Food Pantry in Montclair. This was a great way to start the Key Club service year in Bloomfield High School, and we hope the year continues on this wonderful path!

BACK TO SCHOOL

Car Wash 9/15/18

From 10-2, Key Clubbers worked hard to clean cars and advertise the car wash to people in the streets.

They were extremely successful in raising almost $1,000 for Key Club events and had fun doing it.

COFFEE HOUSE

The fall coffee house for Tomorrow's Children's Fund was a success. With a large turnout, the BHS Key Club raised over $400 for pediatric cancer. More than 70 people attended, many of whom were Key Clubbers getting in their hours at a fun-filled event. Everyone enjoyed open mic night and the baked goods donated by members for more service hours.
