We live for heavy lifting, whether that means massive amounts of old tires, a half-buried boat, or thousands of pieces of styrofoam along a shoreline. Sustainable Textiles, Less Waste Our mission is to remove things from the world’s waterways that shouldn’t be there, but what we really hope is to eliminate the need for that someday; everything we do is grounded in minimizing our environmental impact. As a clothing company, the fabrics and materials we choose to work with are vital: from how crops are grown and harvested, to the factories that make them into our designs, to the way they’ll eventually break down. We’d like you to meet a few key players in our Spring 2018 collection:
ORGANIC COTTON
RECYCLED POLYESTER
Traditional cotton farming accounts for 25% of all insecticides and 10% of pesticides used worldwide, excessive chemical use which has been a huge contributor to global waterway pollution. Organic cotton = 0 pesticides = happy oceans.
We know it’s hard to believe, but our soft and long-lasting recycled polyester pieces start their lives as recycled water bottles. That means less plastic in landfills, less dependence on petroleum, and clothing that can eventually be recycled itself.
HEMP
TENCEL
This miracle fiber requires no pesticides and very little water to grow. Bonus points: it’s known for being one of the most lightweight and durable materials out there, and it’s UV resistant.
A super soft and breathable material that comes from eucalyptus trees, which don’t require pesticides or irrigation.

Recycled, Tough, Packable. The fabric for our Ridgeline travel collection is made from recycled plastic bottles with a DWR water-repellent finish, and thoughtfully designed for almost-too-easy packability. Approved for: packing to the gills, stuffing in the overhead bin, and tossing on the cabin floor for years to come.
