On The Job Training When the student starts on site they will work towards a customised a portfolio of evidence which will be assessed every 8 weeks by our Field Team Assessors. Pathways for the NVQ can include: • Electrical maintenance • Electrical installation • Instrumentation • Service maintenance • Quality control • Engineering systems • Engineering leadership • Mechanical maintenance

Higher Education HETA’s Higher Education programme includes HNC and HND programmes at our Hull and Scunthorpe centres in the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering Electrical or Electronic Engineering Operations (Instrumentation and Control) Engineering The courses can be delivered either by: Day Release: Delivered over 2 years, one day a week for a total of 80 days. This course will give the student 150 credits (minimum requirement 120) Distance Learning: Ideal for students whose location or shift pattern prevents regular attendance. Delivered 90% online with 8 days on-site tutorials. This gives the student 125 credits.
