language skills in the UK. Academic English is for students who would like to study an academic course. The Activity English summer school is designed to give students a taste of life in the UK and contains many fun activities.
ACCA Qualifications
A Levels are two-year programmes which are recognised by all universities. 3/4 subjects are studied in the 1st year (AS Level) and 3 subjects in the 2nd year (A2 Level). Please refer to our International Office or our in-country representatives for individual help with entry requirements.
ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), is one of the leading professional accountancy organisations with over 340,000 members in 165 countries. The ACCA Membership is highly regarded in the fields of financial services and management consulting.
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) As a British Council Accredited English Language Centre for the teaching of ESOL, we offer 5 levels of English classes, and our students study up to 13 hours per week plus 3 hours IELTS to improve their English language skills before joining a subject related course.
A Levels
Advanced Level Qualifications and BTEC Diplomas Diploma courses are the equivalent of 3 A levels and can be used to progress to a University course. This qualification is usually focused on one particular area or subject and related to a specialised occupation and will suit students who prefer to be assessed through coursework rather than examinations.

Education systems vary from country to country. Some high school diplomas fall short of the entry level required by a British university. A foundation course in your chosen subject can help you to bridge that gap and lead you on to university. Many of our international learners have benefited from studying these programmes, which have prepared them for their higher education choices.
Higher Education Programmes Our International learners have the opportunity to select from over 35 higher education programmes from Higher National Certificates and Diplomas, Foundation Degrees in Arts, Science and Engineering through to BSc Honours Degrees and Postgraduate qualifications. Most of our higher education programmes are offered in collaboration with local universities, with progression into higher level programmes; many into the final stage of an Honours Degree programme. Foundation Degrees Foundation degrees have been developed in conjunction with employers to ensure the skills

they require are met through the programme of study. Highly practical, these qualifications increase your career opportunities and earning potential. Higher National Diplomas (HNDs) These programmes are work-related (vocational) higher education qualifications. While bachelors degrees tend to focus on gaining knowledge, HNDs are designed to give you the skills to put that knowledge into effective use in a particular job. Honours Degrees Honours degrees form the largest group of higher education qualifications. Typical courses last for three years and lead to a Bachelors degree with Honours, having a title such as Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science. Scholarships We have 30 scholarships of varying amounts (approx ÂŁ1,000 per learner). These are open to new students only and are based on academic merit.
