Is it seriously the year 2020? Even though it’s hard to believe it is the beginning of a new decade again, it’s also safe to say after surviving the “bomb cyclone” last March and the repeated blizzards and flooding well into the spring we were all ready to put 2019 behind us. With the hope that a new year brings, we at Meyring Cattle Company are excited about opportunities to continue to improve our genetics, optimism in the market, and a demand for high quality beef. In addition, we are excited about our continued relationship with Powerline Genetics and the direction that we are headed together. The bulls in this catalog, offered for sale March 10th, were all raised by Meyring Cattle Company in Alliance, Nebraska and then were developed in Arapahoe, Nebraska by the professional crew at Powerline Genetics. JD, Jeff, Will, & Bobbi make sure the bulls are ready for sale, monitoring their health and growth since November. They have collected the data, pictured the bulls and clipped them for sale. DNA samples were taken to assure the genomically enhanced EPD’s and confirm parentage. You can have confidence that these bulls are sire-verified, tested for coat color, and BVD tested. SALE INFORMATION SALE FORMAT

Bulls will be pre-priced from $3500-$6500. Your selections will need to be turned in by 1 p.m. MST on Wednesday, March 10th. If multiple buyers have selected the same bull for purchase we will call those buyers and will have a phone bid-off. Bid-offs by phone will to conclude between 1-2 p.m. MST on the 10th. Any bulls still available after March 10th will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

GUARANTEE

BULLS ARE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AT THE RANCH BEGINNING FEBRUARY 27TH, 2020

Bulls are guaranteed through the 1st breeding season (90 day period following the first turnout of bulls). Should any bull fail to breed cows, the matter shall be reported to the seller within 6 months following the sale. The bull will then be returned to the seller who has the right to prove the bull a breeder. If the bull proves to be a non-breeder, the seller at their discrection will return purchse price or replace the animal with another of equal value in full settlement and satisfaction. In no event shall seller bear responsibility for more than the purchase price. If a bull becomes a non-breeder by reason of injury, negligence or mismanagement, the seller’s guarantee shall be void.

DIRECTIONS

From Hay Springs: 18 miles south on Hwy 87 to 460th Lane. Continue south on 460th Lane 1 1/2 miles to Meyring Cattle Company sign and west 1/2 mile to bulls. From Alliance: 27 miles northeast on Hwy 87 to 460th Lane. Continue south on 460th Lane 1 1/2 miles to Meyring Cattle Company sign and west 1/2 mile to bulls.

TERMS

Terms of the sale are cash or check made payable to Powerline Genetics, LLC immediately upon the conclusion of the sale and before animals will be removed from Meyring Cattle Co.

RISK

Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as it is sold. Animals purchased are at the purchaser’s risk as to loss or injury and will be loaded according to purchaser’s direction. Mortality and Loss of Use coverage can be added at the time of purchase.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Any changes of information other than in the catalog will be made known and documented and shall take precedence over printed material.

LIABILITY

All bulls have been monitored and examined periodically throught the growth and development process. Should any bull become lame or physically unsound, the matter shall be reported to the seller immediately or within 30 days of delivery. The bull will then be returend to the seller who has the right to prove the bull as lame. If the bull proves to be lame, the seller will return purchase price, credit the purchase price, or replace animal with another of equal value in full settlement and satisfaction. In no event shall seller bear responsibilily for more than the purchase price. If a bull becomes lame by reason of injury, negligence or mismanagement the seller’s guarantee shall be void.

EPDS

The bulls have Genomically enhanced EPDS through the American Simmental Assoication. EPDs and Indexes that are in the top 35% of the breed have been identified in green. Bulls that scanned over a 4.0 IMF and/or 14.0 REA have also been highlighted in green.

COAT COLOR

All bulls have been tested for coat color. The results are listed in the pedigrees as Homo Black or Black.

HEALTH

Bulls have been semen tested by Dr. Nate Hopkins of Beaver Valley Animal Hospital.

RETAINED INTEREST

Meyring Cattle Company with Powerline Genetics, LLC is selling full possession and 1/2 revenue semen interest in all bulls.

Owners and sale management including assume no liability for any accidents that may occur to the animal after it is sold. All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. Owners and sale management assume no liability for accidents.
