As our global societies hurdle into the technological future with ever-increasing connectivity, we are constantly searching for the next new thing. While the tech advances are more and more complicated, we covet the things that make life less complex. Our globalized world is creating a virtual thirst for the greener pasture and at same time we want to share our own version of it.
These advances are also leading to broken-down borders. We can see what friends are riding in London, painting in Brazil, or wearing in Japan. There is no stipulation on age, race or gender. A cultural fluidity is emerging like no other in human history—a free-association of ideas where more and more the past meets the present is the future.
And as life becomes more virtual, there is a renewed appreciation of heritage, evidence of the hand, substance. Defined by a strong sense of individuality and creativity, youth becomes a state of mind, where originality and (re)discovery will become most important. A new emphasis on means of creative expression and self-identity.
This collections brings forth applied ideas of unexpected elements from various times, cultures and environments. Raw, yet refined and imperfect elegance.

S A N TA MONICA CALIFORNIA
Since the 1970’s the Santa Monica/Venice Beach area has been a stomping ground for skateboarders. Still to this day the boardwalk ledges, sand gaps and rounded curbs provide endless fun and possibilities. One of the few places in LA that you can skate during the weekdays with no hassles and no concerns; spending the day cruising the area and remembering all the legendary skaters, video parts and tricks that this place has given to our culture.

LUKE PELLETIER Luke Pelletier grew up in western North Carolina. He graduated with a BFA in fine art from SAIC in 2015. Living in a tourist town for much of his life, he has been heavily influenced by seasonal economies, as well as the multi-level relationships, dependence and resentment, between tourists and locals. Much of Luke’s art blurs the lines between celebrating and condemning a culture that agrees to be taken advantage of while it takes advantage of others. His art is filled with personal anecdotes, dark humor, dualities, contradictions, repetition, and scenes of paradise that are simultaneously pristine and decaying.

No Wave is a compilation of creative design input and this season, we worked closely with Ellis Ericson. His experimental approach to surfing makes him unique, as does his sense of style. He hand picked pieces as inspiration for the line and shot the campaign in VHS‌the result is a rough but wearable look that fits perfectly into the unique No Wave collection.

In a time when gender lines are more blurred than ever and the need to be defined as either male or female is dissipating,1 .we are inspired to explore the idea of the undefined. Clothing is used as a form of self-expression, with this collection we intend to bridge the gap and provide a Neutral platform for people to do just that.
We have taken a minimalistic approach, with comfort and wearability at the forefront. Using soft hand fabrics, heavy laundering and indigo dyes to create worn in timeless pieces. With subtle hints of workwear and utilitarian styling, each piece is designed for versatility, to look good and wear well on anyone and allow the wearer to style their own way.
