WELCOME from Crossroad Farms
Welcome to our 19th Annual Bull and Female Sale. Different than most, the third Wednesday of February acts as our ”New Year” annually. A day we anxiously anticipate as we spend 365 days preparing for it. Writing this piece of the catalogue is a time for us to reflect on the year behind us. 2024 was another great year for our family. The bull sale was one of best, we were fortunate to receive a copious amount of rain, pasture grass was as good as it’s ever been. We followed the kids to Weyburn for the Saskatchewan YCSA and then to Olds for the World Simmental Congress which was a definite highlight to our year as we got to catch up with many friends and customers. Harvest was slow going, it was a whole family effort to get the crops off. The cattle industry is better than ever and prices are reflecting the hard work we all put into it. As we roll into calving, the weather has been promising and the calf crop is as exciting as ever. And at the top of the list, Jody continues to be in remission which is always something we celebrate.
As the kids grow up and we grow older, roles are slowly changing around here and it is inspiring to watch. Having 3 generations involved keeps us moving in new and exciting directions while maintaining the values Crossroad Farms was built on.
The Crossroad kids are growing up fast before our eyes. Olivia hung up the softball cleats and transferred to South Dakota State University to finish up her degree and join the livestock judging team. Shelby is in her second year of Agronomy at the University of Saskatchewan – the school workload is heavy, but she still finds weekends and holidays to come help us out on the farm. Jaici is currently in grade 12 and figuring out her post secondary path for next year. Cooper is currently in grade 10 and is still asking to quit school and work on the farm every day.
Our staff is essential to our success. A huge thank you to our employees Claude and Kirk. Both of these men take enormous pride in their work here. Work is never “work” with these two around and we are always so grateful for the laughter and the long hours they put in.
A thank you to Ian Wasden for once again clipping all our sale animals and doing nights during calving for us once again. We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Claude Wasden, who has decided to put down the clippers – thank you for the years of clipping and friendship.
As for the set of bulls on offer, the consistency is unmatched. With a large group of ET calves, striking natural sons, and proven crosses, the result has been exciting to witness. The large group of fullbloods is more intriguing than ever with the most polled bulls we have ever offered. Our females in production continue to suit our values. There is certainly no absence of power, structural correctness, and dependable fertility. The bulls relay these notable attributes loudly. A set of easy fleshing, genetically proven, fluid moving bulls that are going to excel at their given task. With a wide sire group on offer, there are options for anyone and everyone. It is our goal as a family to keep our program values strong, and this set of bulls is an exemplary model of that.
We invite you to come view the bulls and the females backing them anytime before the sale. Take your time in the pens looking over our offering. We will be available to answer any questions you may have and the coffee is always on. Videos will also be available online in early February.
If you are unable to attend the sale, give us a call or you can contact the capable staff at Bohrson Marketing to bid on your behalf. DLMS will also be available for online bidding.
We invite you to come early on sale day and enjoy a home cooked meal and some Crossroad hospitality before and after the sale.

EPD Explanation EPDs are “Expected Progeny Differences”: They are a useful tool in selection. EPDs incorporate the individual animai with its ancestry performance. EPDs do not compare across cattle breeds. They are individual based per breed. EPDs indicate a probable variance above or below breed average for that trait for a given bull’s progeny. The accuracy of EPDs for calendar year bull calves is generally about 20% (one out of five times) so use it cautiously as one of several selection tools.
Red & Black REFERENCE SIRES
Fullblood & Full Fleck REFERENCE SIRES
Dr. Blair Simonson continues to do exceptional reproductive work from semen testing to embryo work for us. We would also like to welcome our new local vet, Dr. Justin Hodgson, Farm Docs in Spiritwood that looks after our overall herd health. It is very reassuring to have both of these dependable Veterinarians on our team.
Crossroad bulls are developed on a TMR ration consisting of cereal silage, chopped hay, super oats and a custom formulated bull supplement. This ration will optimize longevity and ensure proper development from mass and structure to testicle development. All bulls will be vet checked, scrotal measured and semen tested. Bulls were treated with Selon E,Vit.AD, Tolyrazuril, Nasalgen as baby calves.

It’s the ones like this that make the business entertaining. An outright sight to see, Crossroad Ultimate 74M boldly speaks for himself. The sheer shape this bull encompasses is unlike any other. The colour, hair, mass of bone, profound depth, and immense width from top to bottom is admirable. Behind him is a genetic combination of excellence that correlates to the stunning set of EPDs, finding himself in the top percentages of the breed. A son to the $32,000 SAS Northbound J993 who we lost after his first breeding season, the opportunity to buy into these genetics is limited. His dam, Crossroad Julia 66J has proven her worth, especially after this one. Exhibiting a picture-perfect udder, ample frame, and the maternal strength to raise one like this. At 10 months old, Ultimate froze semen only adding to his list of greats. His package of unprecedented traits, limited pedigree, and stellar EPDs have him pegged to make a significant impact in the industry. ~Homo Polled~
Upwards sire was purchased from Springer Simmentals in Iowa as an off-age specifically to use on first and second calvers. He has certainly left us some impressive sons and daughters. Be sure to check out the Northbound daughter in our heifer offering, she is special. Upward offers calving ease, performance, and cow power, all in one genetic package. His dam is a strong uddered Connected daughter that puts everything she has into her calf. Upward stands proud in his stature with thickness throughout, presenting lots of eye appeal with a great hair coat and pigment. Lots of options to think about here when you are looking for your next herd sire. ~Homo Polled~
We sure wish we had more Northbound sons on offer, these three are all unique in their own ways. U-Turn was born to a heifer who did an excellent job raising her first calf. He is long-bodied, accounting for a little extra birth weight, but was born unassisted. He is solid in his structure with big testicles when we measured in early December. Excellent growth here, something to consider knowing you would benefit from increased weaning weights while injecting maternal values into your replacement heifer pen. ~Homo Polled~
Stout, square-hipped, and tanky. If this bull doesn’t scream pounds to you, we aren’t sure what does. With an actual weaning weight of 918lbs and a 1643lbs 365-day adjusted weight, this powerhouse is going to stamp his calves just like him. His pedigree accounts for his impressive make. His grandam, Crossroad 430D is active in the donor pen, her natural calf, lot 5 exemplifies her ability to produce. The star face, utmost masculinity, unmistakable shape, and infinite width have this bull pegged high in our books. ~Homo Polled~
We have two Stratton sons for you again this year and we sure are impressed with their builds. Ventura has been a real standout since birth, showing tremendous promise all summer, and has surpassed our expectations at this point. He is extremely stylish with his dark-coloured hair coat. Superb in his structure with excellent testicle development. His dam has made her presence known through the progeny she has produced. All three of our Dusty daughters are productive, good-footed, and dependable. They are the mothers of Lots 4,6 and 9. She was flushed after this calf was born and caught back for a January calf. We bought a share back on the full brother to Ventura with the intention of expanding this tremendous producing cow family. Ventura is an outstanding individual with proven traits and qualities you can trust. ~Homo Polled~
A real herd bull prospect here that seems to have it all. Wide over the top, big barrelled, ideal colour, structure, and disposition too. We certainly appreciate the quality the Stratton genetics have given us over the last few years. His progeny have all been very similar in type; honest, reliable, and functional. If you are looking for a bull with traits from a super strong cow family, this is one of our most valued. Vista’s dam is also the daughter of the Lot 5 matriarch making these two Stratton sons closely related. Which one is the best? That will be a tough choice, either way you choose, know that you picked a good one! ~ Homo Polled ~
Always nice to see when a set of twins can make it into the sale and look at the performance! Shelby said these Lot 7 and 8 brothers were easy to picture with the natural muscling they exhibit and at just 11 months of age. They are sired by a power-packed polled full fleck bull we raised. His calves are impressive and we continue to sprinkle his genetics throughout the herd. These brothers have more than adequate testicle development at this stage of their lives and if their upward growth trajectory continues, they both will be more than ready to show their qualities by sale day. ~ Homo Polled ~ Diluter Free~
Great colour with that all-important money stripe just like his Lot 7 twin brother. Lots of shape and dimension to these brothers’ desirable body types ensure that they will pass on their early maturing genetics to their progeny. We purchased their fancy dam from LaBatte Simmentals and she is sure paying her way around here. Her first calf sold in last year’s bull sale for $12,000 to Aiken Farm & Ranch. These impressive twins haven’t slowed her down either, she’s due for another January calf. Some next-level genetics here that will leave consistency and quality to the calves they sire. ~ Homo Polled ~ Diluter Free~
Sure didn’t know when the kids told me to write Shapeshifter on this baby calf’s tag that he would have this much SHAPE when he grew up! From his well-defined rear quarter to the depth of his flank, ample capacity through his middle, and then down to his solid feet, this guy is hard to fault. Great hair and large testicles on this first of eight Sysco sons we have for you this year. Sysco is a real game changer injecting exemplary muscling into the calves he sires. Shapeshifters dam also factors big time into this soggy bull’s quality, all her calves are January born, and she is a daughter of our prolific producing Dusty cow. The dams of Lots 4,5 and 6 are also Dusty daughters making it evident that the maternal strengths in this cow family can really feed a calf.
here on November 28, Shapeshifter is a bull that commands attention and will no doubt be easy to find on sale day.
Here is a moderate birth weight Sysco son that has lots to him, length, muscle expression, testicle size, and is super stylish with that white face. His transplant Spartacus dam has always had small calves at birth. Her last year’s son sold at our bull sale was a full sibling to Strata and a daughter is the dam of the Lot 3 bull. This Spartacus X Sysco combination is undoubtedly one of the most impressive groups we have ever offered over the years. These two sires have made their mark in our herd with the mass and power they pump into their progeny. He has a balanced set of EPDs and a ton of proven traits; he will ensure consistency you can rely on. ~ Homo Polled ~
Here is an excellent Sysco son mothered by a Kill Switch dam that has been a consistent fertile producer with all her calves born in January. This is her fifth son to be selling in our bull sale. Her previous progeny have all been standouts and sold to prominent cattle producers. She’s only ever had one daughter; she’s a good one and has been retained in the herd. Suarez is well-structured, solid on all fours, and continues to impress us with his performance. He has a great hair coat, with ideal colour, and carries that all-important money stripe on his face. Make sure to check him out when our videos come out at the end of January, guarantee you will be looking at him more than once. ~ Hetero Polled ~
This mating certainly worked well again. His full brother sold at last year’s sale to Cypress Colony for $16,000 and this is the third good January son this cow has contributed to our bull sale. He is only ten and a half months old in this picture and as you can see there is lots of bull here. He is super thick, wide topped with a heavily muscled rear quarter, solid structure, and lots of testicle. Score will be a real herd builder, injecting performance, style, and strong maternal values into the calves he sires. You will score “big time” if you select this guy as your next herd sire. ~ Hetero Polled ~
The consistency of these Gracie X Sysco embryos is unmatched. Stonehenge and his full brother below are carbon copies of each other. Ample length of spine and volume, great scrotal, and masculinity. 3 full brothers to Stonehenge averaged $15,300 in our 18th annual bull & female sale. These Sysco sons are stamped with his unique muscling pattern, evident in that quarter. His sons have been high sellers for the past three years, and for good reason. ~ Hetero Polled ~
Another tremendous Sysco son with explosive growth to add power and performance to your next calf crop. Pictured here at a young age, you can certainly appreciate his thickness, deep quarter, overall balance, and big testicles too. His length of body is admirable, just calculate how much more your calves will weigh with an extra foot of length. His donor dam has been an awesome producer with twenty calves to her credit. Several of her daughters are working in the herd and her sons have been high sellers at past sales. Lots 13,14,82 and 83 are all full siblings showing their consistency and early maturing nature. You will drive a lot of miles to find a bull with this much potential. ~
Scorch’s blood-red colour alone grabs your attention when you walk into the pen. He steps out with ease on his solid structure and length of body. Born an 85-pound twin certainly doesn’t appear to have affected his growth. His dam is a beautifully uddered American Red daughter out of our Code Red donor cow which guarantees she will produce a good one every time. Here is a bull that makes a statement with his many qualities and will add a ton of value to your next calf crop. ~ Homo Polled ~
Our leap-year bull born on Feb 29 and I just have to say that he has been growing by leaps and bounds. You would never know by looking at this soggy bull that he is the youngest bull in the sale. His high-priced dam was purchased at the Spring Creek dispersal with the intent of adding her to our donor program as soon as possible. We knew that the Sysco strengths would work very well with these superior maternal traits from his dam. Here is a solid bull with an excellent pedigree. Six-Pac is going to continue to impress us as he matures. ~ Homo Polled ~
This set of five Springcreek Sherlock brothers has us stoked. Purchased out of Springcreek’s herd dispersal for use in our heifer pen, Sherlock has made himself a name. Imprinting his calves with ideal colour, extreme calving ease, and explosive growth. His semen sells as lot 101 here at the bull sale. Progress has mirrored his sire identically. Adequate muscling, blood red pigment, great shape, and a poised presence. His bottom side goes back to a strong line of production females. Females with big frames, absolute depth, and have met their expectations year after year. Progress’s calving ease features, strong structure, and pedigree give him the potential to be a great heifer pen candidate. ~ Homo
We are really impressed with these Sherlock calves; they come easy at birth and then grow like crazy. Prestige is the result of a Cinderella Man daughters first calf, and we sure appreciate the udder quality that all his daughters possess. His dam also has some of those predictable heavy muscling genetics from the Spartacus in her pedigree. Prestige is structured well, has a good thick hair coat, and a calving ease EPD of 15.7. We think his new owner will be happy with the ton of growth he will inject into the calves he sires. ~ Hetero Polled ~
This Sherlock son is more moderate leaning more towards his dam’s body type. We only have two of these KT Hercules females and they are thick! After raising good first calves they both bred back on the first cycle, good fertility is something we all like to see. This bull has an incredible profile at this young age and is really going to mature into something! Very well balanced, good muscling, sound structure, adequate testicle size, great hair, colour, and a 15.8 calving ease EPD. He pretty much checks all the boxes, definitely worth checking out on sale day. ~ Homo Polled ~
Heads up bull buyers, this is an interesting one. Here is a stretchier made low birth weight Sherlock son and just look how well his young State of War dam fed him! He boasts eleven out of thirteen above-average EPD’s and check out his performance numbers too. A calving ease of 19.3 makes him a sleep-easy herd sire for heifers. Pictured here at just over ten months of age, he is going to be stunning when he matures. What you see is what you get and we guarantee you are going to get some calves with an exceptional growth rate. ~ Hetero Polled ~
Sherlock’s calving ease EPD is 21.2 so calving a power-packed heifer like this one is sweet. We are looking forward to a larger group of Sherlock calves coming this year knowing we can trust they will be born unassisted and have some “get up and go” to start sucking. High maternal values are layered throughout Priority’s pedigree from both his sire and dam. We know without a doubt that he will sire some tremendous replacement females. Adequate muscling, structured well, solid colour pattern, great hair coat, and big testicles are all qualities you can expect to see on sale day. ~ Homo
~
Here is a solid, moderate-framed bull that posted some good weights on the scale from his weaning weight continuing through to his 365 YW adj. His AI sire is used successfully throughout the industry in the heifer pen. His dam is an American Red daughter which also contributes an extra shot of calving ease but, has a powerhouse of a grandam on that bottom side that is full of performance. Approved is an attractive well-balanced, good-haired bull with excellent scrotal development that will mature into a dependable herd sire. ~ Homo Polled ~
We have only one son on offer this year from our incredibly thick IPU Top Tier sire. We purchased him from LaBatte Simmentals a couple of years back for use in the heifer pen. Tacoma has a couple of shots of calving ease from his dam’s pedigree and has still posted some decent performance numbers. Plenty of style, muscle throughout, and structured well on all fours, here is a good versatile bull that will sire calves that are in high demand. ~ Homo Polled ~
Every once in a while, you pull some old trusted semen out of the tank. Crossroad Slapshot was a Reserve Champion King of the Ring back in the day and he sired some awesome calves for us. He was born in 2006 and after nineteen years we still have a few of his strong granddaughters working in the herd. We have a direct Slapshot daughter on offer in the heifer section, if you are looking for longevity and production be sure to check her out. Power Shot’s dam is a moderate framed fertile Limitless daughter who is expecting her sixth January born calf. She has two fancy daughters working in the herd. Power Shot has some excellent traits that will be of interest to many, he is super stylish with his deep-bodied profile, great hair coat, colour, and a good temperament to boot! Just wait till you see him all muscled up by sale time, impressive to say the least. ~ Homo Polled ~
A super thick, moderate framed, low birth weight bull that will certainly catch your eye when you walk in the pen. His dam is a powerful female we purchased from Mcmillen Ranching last year and she did an excellent job raising her first calf. We have admired this fella all summer for his style, great colour, hair, and overall presence. Structured well and has good testicle development too. He carries a strong masculine presence; this guy will cover a lot of cows. ~ Homo Polled ~
A dark red LFE Redwood twin out of a super-producing momma cow. Her past three bulls have been at the very top of the red pen, averaging $14,800. Once again, she has done a tremendous job on this son. He exhibits ideal length of spine, great shape to his rib, a square build, and that sought-after white face. The LFE Redwood bull, a son of the prolific LFE Stratton, has made his mark in our herd. Leaving us five impressive replacement daughters in the pen this year. The pedigree behind this bull is one you can count on. ~ Homo Polled ~
Red Recruit’s dam is a daughter of our trusted calving ease sire Flash whose genetics contribute to this bull’s lower birth weight but still shows a lot of substance at this stage of his life. Excellent fertility in this good uddered dam as she’s due again for a January calf. Calving ease EPD of 14.3, very well balanced, good hair, structure, and as you can see good testicle development. This blaze-faced bull will mature into a reliable herd sire and his big blaze will help increase the money stripe calves you have to sell come fall. ~ Homo Polled ~
This bull is going to be the sleeper. His picture simply doesn’t do him justice. He is one of our two red Crossroad Connected sons we have on offer this year. He is a large framed, blaze-faced, super long-bodied bull that is full of dark pigment right to the hoof. There are generations of excellent udder quality on both sides of this good bull’s pedigree. His Bounty Hunter dam is bred back for January so good fertility to add to his long list of qualities too. We are confident Chavez will sire good calves and be a dependable breeder. ~ Homo Polled ~
Casino’s sire is widely used by breeders with many sons and daughters fetching top dollar. His dam is from the powerful Audrey cow family and she has put her ALL into raising this end of January son. Pictured here at just ten months he is a good-footed, well-balanced bull with muscle throughout. Excellent performance with above average EPD’s, full of excellent traits to pass onto his progeny. ~ Homo Polled ~
A great result here with this combination of genetics. This is the second calf for this thick Sysco daughter who belongs to an extremely strong and fertile cow family. No Limits is long-spined with plenty of depth throughout. Guaranteed he is going to sire some impressive hairy, deep-sided calves. ~ Homo Polled ~
Here is the first of two red sons sired by our Grass Roots Esteem herd sire. His dam is Jaici’s good uddered cow purchased at the Springcreek dispersal. We have one of her fancy daughters retained in the herd. Eldorado gets more impressive the more you analyze him. Moderate framed, soft made, star face, desirable hair coat. Built correctly from top to bottom, this bull is going to sire a neat set of calves. ~ Homo Polled ~
Here is the second of 3 esteem calves. Euphoria is a moderate framed, smooth made, attractive looking bull. His dam is an angular, dark red, beautifully uddered female with a ton of capacity. Euphoria ranks in the top 15% in 6 different EPDs. His outcross pedigree and attractive body is truly one to consider for your next bull. ~ Homo Polled ~
We are pleased to offer you five transplant brothers from our prolific producing Whisper cow. She was purchased from Ultra Livestock with the intention of using her as a donor and she has given us large numbers of quality embryos on multiple flushes. Her first calf was Crossroad Playboy who was a high seller at last year’s bull sale. He has matured into an incredible specimen and we will be incorporating his genetics into the herd this year. The next five lots have everything you could want when choosing your all-important next herd sire. As you can see in this early December picture, Crusader is proud in his stature, showcasing exemplary pigment, ideal frame size, and faultless structure. Be sure to watch this bull’s videos or come tour the pens, we think you will like him even more than the picture. ~ Hetero Polled ~ Diluter Free~
Great colour and a docile temperament on this large framed, strong-muscled Creed son. The Whisper donor dam has a very desirable udder and we are excited to move forward with the four exceptional transplant sisters from this same flush. We can see that they have the potential to be foundation females as we continue building this new cow family keeping the full blood division of our herd strong. There are a number of high profile bloodlines in this pedigree, guaranteed to produce. ~ Diluter Free~
Undoubtedly the deepest sided of these flush brothers, Campaign is one to admire for his thickness throughout. Heavy-boned, excellent structure, and square-hipped, he is one we sure like. Excellent testicle development on all these Creed sons when we measured in early December and strong maternal values in these bloodlines too. We think any of these brothers are the kind to build a cow herd around and sons that the industry craves. He will be a real contender on sale day for you to consider. ~ Hetero Polled ~ Diluter Free~
Trident is a bull that’s been high on our radar all summer long. Polled, with ideal skull shape, and markings. The pedigree behind these five flush brothers is as prized as it comes, including some of the most prolific fullblood herd sires- old and new. Trident is one to praise for his exemplary balance, structure, and athletic ability to carry himself. He is a complete package in our minds and is hard to poke a hole in. ~ Hetero Polled ~ Diluter ~
Calhoun is another big bodied impressive Creed son full of meat and muscle. There is no doubt that this combination of genetics will pack on the pounds to the calves he sires. He exhibits maximal length of spine, strong feet and legs along with a ton of maternal traits you can count on. Here is a very complete bull that would move your program forward into the future. This is the kind of bull that has a lot to offer in the beef business. ~ Hetero
Another big framed, early maturing Creed son, full of performance. Chapman exhibits utmost length of spine, double wrap around goggles, and a dependable foot. His donor dam is beautifully put together. Flawless udder, great carrying capacity, and is super thick which really compliments the polled side of this pedigree. His grandam is the mother of the $155,000 Silver Lake Jackson and $50,000 Jenner that sold in 2022. A very distinguished pedigree to say the least. Chapman is set on the right tracks to sire tremendous calves, his daughters will be strong producers too, real herd builders. ~ Diluter ~
This bull is a result of embryos we purchased from Silver Lake Simmentals. Sired by Creed and the famous dam of the high-selling Silver Lake Jackson, Jenner and Havanna, who is the dam of the last lot. We have two full siblings in the replacement heifer pen and we are already making plans for their future production. This Callahan is a big, soggy brute of a bull. Thick muscle blankets his long deep frame carrying down through his rear quarter. Here is a bull that will give you those big heavyweights in the fall and daughters that will be top-end producers for years to come. ~ Diluter ~
A prime representation of “what’s old is new”. This remarkable deep red double-goggled South Seven Adonis son will make some friends for his respectable qualities. An exquisite muscle pattern, extreme depth of body, pronounced rib shape, and a perfect foot. A transplant son out of the BBBG Pol Cara 36C female, who has given this guy her strongest qualities, along with the polled gene. Mr Adonis continues to keep up his track record after 13 years in the industry. The frame, colour, markings, and ideal testicle size are all to be noted. His masculine presence has made him a favourite from the get-go, we will be retaining semen for in-program use. ~ Hetero
Here is a full sibling to the last lot and although he doesn’t have the same stunning picture as his brother and not as far along in his growth, they do have same genetics. By sale day he will be showing his stuff and will catch the attention of those that appreciate his potential. He has a solid colour pattern with wrap-around goggles, adequate muscle, solid structure and good testicle size. If you want to add some proven maternal strengths into your replacements, either of these brothers will definitely be ones to consider. ~ Diluter Free~
A transplant son that we have been extremely high on all summer long. His homo-polled fifteen year old dam Triple F Lexi 25X, is still working in our flush program today. Sired by the renowned Outlook bull, this guy is full of shape and performance. He’s got it all for us. Maximal muscling in his quarter, strong topped, and longer than a train. The foundation underneath this bull is simply impeccable. ~ Hetero Polled ~ Diluter Free~
This full brother to the previous lot, distances himself for his extremely dark pigment. Large frame score, notable depth of body, and great dimension from all angles. We are pleased to offer you this colossal combination of genetics. Outlook has been widely used throughout our herd; his daughters are known for their excellent udder quality. Not only does our homo-polled Lexi dam have longevity but is a super long bodied tank full of a female. Good testicle development, tons of eye appeal, Outlaw is a bull that will bring pounds to the table. ~ Hetero Polled ~
Here is the third Lexi transplant son but this time, he’s homo polled. Sired by Crossroad Lieutenant who has given us some exceptional progeny. Levi is a big-boned, long-bodied dark red bull that will be a real stand-out on sale day. We have two exceptional full sisters in the replacement pen. Another set of Lexi embryos will be implanted this spring to increase the size of this functional cow family. Full Fleck, Homo polled, he might be just what you have been looking for! ~ Homo Polled ~ Diluter Free~

SPRINGCREEK SHERLOCK 140K
50 STRAWS
We figured there was no better opportunity to offer the first semen packages on Springcreek Sherlock than here, alongside his stunning set of sons and daughters on offer. Purchased out of Springcreeks dispersal as a 10-month-old, Sherlock has effortlessly secured his place in our bull battery. His dam, Springcreek Amanda 35F was the selling feature for us. Breathtaking in her build, refined skull, grand extension, sound foot, and a worthy production record. Sherlock’s outstanding set of EPDs caught our attention, a calving ease of 21.2 ensured fail-safe calving on heifers. Much like his Shamrock sire, the calves come out small with plenty of vigour. What distances him is the shocking growth rate of the calves as the days go on. It truly was the cherry on top. The five sons and two daughters on offer are a consistent set across the board. Ideal pigment, great shape, muscle, and EPD profiles that only make them stronger. The Sherlock bull himself is a sight out in pasture. Long spined, clean skulled, deep chested, and his pigment couldn’t be better. We are pleased to share his genetic combination of excellence with the industry.
