Managing Editor Managing Editor This is my second issue of ageless beauty and helping others chase their dream who are 40 and over . # lovewhatido is my motto in life. I started this campaign "ageless beauty" three years ago this past June with a fashion show at the Porter Sanford Performing Arts Center. I am "artsy" - I enjoy modeling, singing, writing poetry and so much more - and "ageless beauty" encompasses all that and then some! This magazine is the culmination of my motto, the ageless beauty movement, and the support of so many people. # supporthosethatsupportu is one of my most famous hastags, and I try hard to live by it. I am committed to focusing my mind to help, support and nurture others, and pull out what has always been inside - GREATNESS! Special thanks to Brenda Dubone, who always has my back; Nissa Elliott and Tony Trotter, my BFF companion and friend - you are awesome! My son who always listen to me sing around the house and never knows what event I have next... I love ya! To my family: thanks for giving me the truth to make me better, and Lynita Mitchell-Blackwell, thanks for believing in my dream and making it come true - BOLD Favor you ROCK! And last, but definitely not least, to all my model babies Novembur, Brooklyn, Bella, Taylor, Heaven, Rydon - you are our future! Be ageless my beauties!

Tina LYNGALE AGENCY Tina Bridges founded The Lyngale Agency in 2013 when she discovered being 40+ was a crime - at least in society's eyes. Tina thoroughly researched the issue and found that no agencies catered to the 40+ age range, and that is when she decided to form her own agency: The Lyngale Agency Tina's models are called AGELESS BEAUTY, and the agency has been warmly embraced by the industry. Lyngale produces an annual fashion show in June and is a frequent guest on radio and TV shows. The Agency books similar interviews for its models, as well as photo shoots and promotional work. Tina's motto is #shestayworking. Never give up your dream. The Lyngale Agency gives you something to look forward to.... turning 40 does't look so bad. WWW.THELYNGALEAGENCY.COM.

A Fash i onabl e M oment f rom th e M OTHERLA ND OK ladies and Gents, so you all know that I attended ?A Fashionable M oment from the M otherland? presented by Cecil H armon, and hosted by Tina Bridges. And let me tell you, it was definitely a night to remember (for lack of better words).
I arrived at the very quaint, and very historical Star T heater located in Atlanta, GA; if you?re unfamiliar with the history of this venue, please promise yourself that on your next quest for leisure time to indulge in melanin history just a little. You?ll be surprised to note that the Star theater was home of some of the most influential creative African dance artists of our time! But I digress; I walk into the venue and notice vendors lining the walls; displaying their hand crafted jewelry, traditional African attire, and handmade soaps and Shea butters. M om and pop vendor companies such as Paparazzi Jewelry & Accessories, Atlanta?s H ouse of H enna, and Journalist Jerome Dorn of In the H ouse M edia welcomed attendees with warm smiles and samples to try. I snapped a few photos, and made my way to the media area and anxiously waited for the show to begin.
As I?m scanning the room I noticed one of my favorite comedians sitting in the audience ?Comedian Tiny? from Shaq?s All-star comedy weekend, BET ?s ?Coming to the Stage?, and you may also recognize him from BET ?s comic view. I attempted to snap a photo, but he was scarfing down doughnuts, so I decided not Page 13
to snap him in a compromising situation (LOL)! All of a sudden the Lion K ing theme songs began to play on the overhead speakers; suddenly two accented African dancers rush into the room into vibrational African dancing from daring stomps, high kicks, hip trusts, and calling sounds. So you guys know me, I stood up and began to gyrate my hips in hopes that I could attempt to even remotely resemble how these dancers moved? N eedless to say; I FAI LED miserably, So I sat my caramel butt down and just snapped some photos hunnie (hey, don?t judge).
Afterwards, the fashion show officially began; and out walks models of all shapes and sizes in handmade fashions from Designers ?Paint by Shawn Denise?, and ?Dan Flow Fashion?. T hese models graced the runway in colorful, and whimsical designs that embodied African tradition with a twist of modern flair. Picture this? .M odels grace the runway, then an intermission intercedes and waiters bring scrumptious traditional foods to sample from red stew soup to Jollof rice. OH ! if you?ve never tried Jollof rice; you are seriously missing out. Let?s just say, I indulged a bit too much on the rice, but hey it was the weekend, so that entitles me to a cheat day!
singer Adrienne Woods blessed us with her voice. She opened up with one of my favorite Cee-lo Green songs titled ?Crazy? and ended with my best friend (in my head) song, Jill Scotts ?Golden?. When she opened her mouth and belted out those tunes; I hit the floor in awe, and while I was down there I noticed other had fell out with me! Just kidding, but you get the picture. R affle tickets were also given to all attendees as a fulfilled additive to win cool giveaways from funky neck ties to beaded jewelry. N o, I didn?t win anything, I was a little salty but hey I can?t have it all right! Lol Afterwards, out came wonderful presenter M r. Cecil gracing the runway wearing a bold Dashiki, and a smile thanking everyone for their attendance support; including your very own ?Bold Favor Representative? M E! : )
All in all lovelies, this event was major considering the modality of newbies on the scene striving to make an impact in communities and essentially GLOBALLY! T he Fashionable M oment from the M otherland event was everything from beautiful, creative, and quaintly colorful! Oh, and if you just so happen to contact the featured designers to purchase your next gettup, tell-em T he Gypsy Empress Sent ya! Live free sugas, M U U U U U U U U UAH ! X O X O, T he Gypsy Empress
Anywho, models enter the room again to grace the stage, then another intercession begins but this time the audience is graced with some serious ear candy as

W illie & C hristina HIS and HERS: A Love St or y When you commit to allowing yourself to be broadcasted on television, you allow millions into your life. T hose millions of people tune in on a weekly to watch and past judgement or be entertained or be encouraged or whatever influences one has to tune in. During Christina Johnson?s stint on reality television, she revealed moments of vulnerability, moments of triumph, moments of hurt, moments of pain and moments of happiness. All of those moments revealing a tad bit more of who Christina Johnson really is. But what viewers got to ultimately witness and experience was the beginning of Christina deciding to finally get out of her own way and learn to love again.
Atlanta Exes Star Christina with current beau Willie. Christina is Artist Ceelo's Ex-Wife Page 16
Anyone who has ever experienced being hurt emotionally by people and situations you once depended on for happiness and sanity, can
attest to how hard it can be to pick up the pieces and put together an entirely different puzzle, and in Christina?s case blindfolded. T he world got to watch as she and W illie Wallace met for the first time as they went on a blind date set up by their mutual friend. N ever had met each other before, the world watched genuine reactions of these now love birds when they first laid eyes on each other. When the sound of their voices met each other?s ears for the first time. T he nervousness they both felt asking and answering those first date questions that they probably were practicing on the way to the restaurant; then turn around and watch that same nervousness melt away as they got more comfortable with each other with each passing question. T hat blind date filled with those moments were the beginning of a story, not
www.BOLDFavorMagazine.com
just about love and companionship, but of restoration and healing. Timing is everything and W illie entered the picture not when Christina was at her lowest, but when she had finally built herself back up enough to even allow someone to meet her at the wall she built up. A wall that luckily W illie was tall enough to peek over and see that it was worth attempting to break down brick by brick. W illie took on the challenge of being all of those things Christina needed. A man that prays for her on a daily. A man that respects her family and friends. A man that is H ER biggest fan and in turn she is H IS. Together their future is bright and this story, their story has no ending in sight.
