The author revolves the poem around the littlest of details, the bits of a big picture that one doesn’t usually notice. Yet these details creeps in the back of one’s mind from time to time. In the dead of the night, the author notices how ironically chaotic the night is, despite it being serene & tranquil, the details are alive. There is life in the peace of the night.
