2022/23 HIGHLIGHTS

The 2023 ADFVPFESIIANZACDayShield was held on Sunday 23rd April at TIO Stadium. As the women and men from the Australian Defence Force and Northern Territory Police Fire Emergency Services battled it out for the 2023 ANZAC Shield, all monies raised from the gate entry costs were donated 50/50 with NT Police Legacy and ADF Legacy.

NT Police Legacy received $1,070 as their share of the takings with special appreciation to 1st Brigade - Australian Army, NT PFES, AFL NT and Legacy Australia.

The annual Police Legacy National Conference was held in Adelaide in August 2022. Hosted by SA Police Legacy and attended by all state & territory Police Legacies, the NT Police Legacy was represented by board member and Treasurer, Bruce Payne.

At the National Conference respective Board Chairs and Representatives support and sign the ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ between the Police Legacies. This collaboration between jurisdictions is of great benefit to the NT Police Legacy Families who live around Australia who offer joint support where possible. We have families in both Adelaide and Perth who access these arrangements and support with activities and events. The 2023 National Conference will be held in Sydney, NSW from 4-6 August.
