Dear Rose, This lovely book has been made especially for you. Enjoy the lovely pictures and the fun adventure

Kisses and cuddles from Mummy and Daddy

Rose

has a wonderful new bedroom. It’s a room fit for

a real Princess. Tonight she will sleep in it for the first time. And because of this her best friend sarah is allowed to stay over. “Oooh...if only we really were Princesses!” says Rose to sarah.

They

soon find themselves in

Dreamland. Rose and her friend sarah are walking through a forest. They are both wearing pretty dresses. Suddenly a white unicorn appears from between the trees. “Would you like to fly with me? the unicorn asks...

They

fly high up into the clouds...

on the unicorn’s back. The clouds look like giant marshmallows. In the distance there is a huge, colourful hot air balloon.

The

unicorn beats his mighty wings and PLOP!

Rose lands in the balloon’s basket. Another PLOP! Here’s sarah. The hot air balloon descends through the fluffy clouds. What a view the Princesses have!

The

balloon lands in the middle of a meadow. There’s a big, friendly

porcupine rummaging around. “Hello, Princesses! I would like to give each of you one of my quills. They are really magic wands. Wish away to your heart’s content! But, be warned! The magic won’t last forever!”

Rose and sarah

love treats. Rose waves

her quill wand and conjures up hundreds and hundreds of sweets. Look! There are enormous coloured lollipops, cute chocolate bunnies and “OOOH!” – delicious decorated biscuits and bright pink bubblegum which you can… puff… blow… puff… blow…. ginormous bubbles and POP!!!

sarah

is very good at ballet. Her greatest wish

is to stand on a brightly lit stage. Rose looks at her friend in amazement. sarah bows and bows again before the crowd, “clap...clap...clap. Well done, sarah! What a fantastic performance!

All danced out,

Rose now makes her greatest wish. A

tiny little dog. She’s always loved animals and yes! Look! Rose has a puppy sitting on her lap... Sooo cute! What gorgeous eyes and that soft fur... “And oh look, he’s wagging his tail!”

With

the dog at their feet, Rose and sarah are sitting at the table. “In

front of them is a huge pizza, it looks like a spaceship.” “MMMMMM….” It’s topped with tomatoes, ham, cheese and pineapple, and much, much more. Pizza is their favourite food, which is why they wished for the biggest one in the whole wide world.

Many

pizza slices later sarah sighs; “Gosh... I’m so hot.”. “And I’m really

thirsty!” groans Rose. Before they know it they are bobbing up and down in a beautiful lake. A big grey bird lands in front of them. “I’m a crane,”...says the bird... “Would you both like to cool down?” And with his huge beak the crane conjures up a waterfall …

What a party!

Under the waterfall in a green valley,

they laugh, splash and have great fun. A bird of paradise looks on cheerfully from the bushes. “I say, Princesses... do you feel like dancing?” he asks. ... The bird gives Rose and sarah a red feather each … “Hold onto your feather tightly and close your eyes...”

When

Rose and sarah open their eyes, they are standing in front of a

huge castle. And they can hear lovely dance music. They dip and sway. Their dresses sweep around them as they move. They dance until they are dizzy.

They

turn so quickly they start to

rise. They fly higher and higher. Until ... plop... plop... they land on a big, soft cloud.

“It’s time, girls,”

whispers the

wind... And it blows and blows.

They

are lying in bed. The window in the new

bedroom of Rose is open. The curtains are fluttering in the breeze. Rose opens her eyes and looks at sarah. “I had such a funny dream, she says.

Hand

in hand the girls walk

downstairs in their pyjamas to the neatly laid breakfast table. To their amazement, they see two red feathers in their drinking cups!

“Was it really a dream after all?
