PRODUCT (02) An extension product, an illustration in response to the band’s single entitled: This song would be killer on tatooine. It was necessary for the illustration to look convincing and have an edge of humour. Image was created using referance imagery, adobe illustrator and adobe photoshop. Full colour image.

APPLICATION (01) Both illustrations were applied across a cd jewel case format and a promotional 7 record sleeve. The album illustration (robot) also had a protective slipcase applied to the cd and stickers were made for CD and physical record print. The coloured illustration translates much better in print, with all tones vibrant and eye catching.
Left: CD album and 7 formats. Right: Contents for both formats Bottom: print detail.

This image was created using photoshop with type then being applied over the top of the image. The image was hi res so scalability without image quality degradation was not an issue.
