Think Tank Question # 1
Explain how unit cubes can be used to help measure volume.
Unit cubes measure 1 cubit unit for length, width, and height. Therefore, unit cubes may be counted to determine the volume of the figure.. Secondly, if the figure is a rectangular prism, the unit cubes may be used to count the length, the width, and the height so that these numbers may be multiplied together to give the volume.

Think Tank Question # 2
Draw a different prism with the same volume as the prism in Section 2.
Vold= 8 x 3 x 4 12 I used 3 x 4 = 12 and found another factor which was 6 x 12, then used it for length and width.
Vnew= 8 x 6 x 12 12
