Mix Master DVINE and “The Best Is Yet To Come” Editorial by Born2wryte™

In his head, the beats never stop. The beats and lyrics keep rolling. He is fairly new to the industry, but a veteran producer of the hottest raps and beats. CK “DVINE” Sanders’ new CD goes hard with back to back hot tracks that you will not be able to sit still for. DVINE has the talent to turn a party into a club atmosphere, and a club atmosphere into a concert atmosphere; in other words, the boy is bad!! His energy and skill is incomparable. Ja’Maal Buster “Eyelash Guru” To the Stars by Born2wryte™

It is said that when Ja’Maal Buster holds a woman’s face in his hands and looks into her eyes, his goal is to make her look and feel a little more beautiful. Ja’Maal is an expert artist in false eyelash application; a custom tailor of lashes for each unique feature of a woman. A native of Texarkana, TX, Ja’Maal moved to Dallas the day he graduated from high school. He set out to learn about the finest fashion, art, and music, and after six years he headed to Detroit where he was first introduced to eyelash artistry. Fascinated by what he saw, Ja’Maal decided to teach himself on the process because he was tired of using everyone else’s lashes when they would not lie on his customer’s eyes the way he wanted them to. He tested his skills on friends and the word spread like wild fire, and then his appointment book quickly swelled to capacity. In only a year’s time, Ja’Maal went from being the Assistant Store Manager at Dolce & Gabbana to obtaining a factory to custom make his own eyelash product line and opening Fabulous Lashes by Ja’Maal Buster, the first eyelash salon in the country. Now dubbed by the media as “The Eylelash Guru” to the Stars, Ja’Maal’s artistry has been viewed in world-wide publications such as the Dallas Morning News, Entertainment Hollywood, TV Guide, LA-Story.com, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Daily Candy (Dallas and Atlanta), Modern Luxury (Dallas and Atlanta), Upscale, Style Network, Beverly Hills, and the list goes on. In 2006, Modern Luxury (Dallas) honored Ja’Maal as one of Dallas’ Illustrious Men of Style, and Vogue named Ja’Maal as one of the country’s top eyelash experts. Ja’Maal is also now a media personality and he has appeared on Good Morning Texas, CBS 11 Morning Show (Dallas), KTLA Morning Show, UPN21’s The Daily Buzz, and The Wendy Williams Show. Ja’Maal has now secured spots to display and sell his products on the QVC show. Ja’Maal’s celebrity clients include: Jane Fonda, Paula Abdul, Rihanna, Lisa Rinna, Paris Hilton, Audrina Partridge, Taryn Manning, Shenae Arimes, Lauren London, Michelle Williams, LeToya Luckett, Cicely Tyson, Keri Hilson, Kelis, Keyshia Cole, Candis Cayne, Milly Sims, Toccara Jones, Trina, Dania Ramirez, Samantha Harris, Debra Messing, and too many others to name. Though incredibly successful and constantly surrounded by high profile celebrities, Ja’Maal is shy and humble. Yet when it comes to his work, he is confident, a tiger salesman and go-getter. He has many projects going on and in the works, including preparing to launch his product line in the U.K. Ja’Maal has already reached the Stars, and now he is looking to reach beyond. “Things Aren't Always What They Seem Author Unknown

Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest room. Instead the angels were given a space in the cold basement. As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it. When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied..."Things aren't always what they seem". The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food they had the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest. When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field. The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel "how could you have let this happen!? The first man had everything, yet you helped him," she accused. "The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let their cow die." "Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel replied. "When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall. Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't find it. Then last night as we slept in the farmers bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave her the cow instead. “Things aren't always what they seem". Sometimes this is exactly what happens when things don't turn out the way they should. If you have faith in God, just trust that every outcome is always to your advantage. You might not realize it until much later. 15

Ultra Sound… Last of the Real Musicians by Born2wryte™

Extra..Extra..Stop the Press….Addicts are Multiplying In Record Numbers!!! Addicts are swelling to an astronomical number and they are popping up in areas where addicts have never been reported before. It is all because of a new drug on the scene called “Ultra Sound”. The power and potency of this drug is immeasurable, and its secret ingredients include Taylor “I Am Music” Pace, Cory “Bass Man” Hamilton, Steve “Drummer Boy” Williams, and Living Legend Shake “Guitar King” Anderson. This addiction has turned into an uncontainable epidemic and has been dubbed as “The Last of The Real Musicians Addiction”. To get a better understanding of how this drug works, you have to be educated on the elements of each ingredient. Taylor “I Am Music” Pace is a multi-instrumentalist who was born into a musical family. At the unripe age of 2, Taylor’s parents discovered that it was not only blood that ran through Taylor’s veins, but it was music as well. Although Taylor grew up singing and playing keyboard in his father’s church, his musical background is extensive and diversified. Taylor graduated from Howard University with a BA in Arts & Science, and his studies included Classical and Jazz music. Taylor’s gifts and talents allowed him to teach himself how to play the bass, drums and guitar. Taylor is a lover of all genres of music, which you will always get a taste of as it parades out in his own music. Taylor has played and toured with such well-known artist as Mario, Mya, The Seven Sons of Soul, Geri Allen, Benny Golson, and the list goes on. Taylor has played in venues in Japan and in Russia. For Taylor, music is his life..his oxygen, and he wants to share it with the world. Taylor is at home and consumed with joy on stage, and his audience and fans are his comfort blanket. Steve “Drummer Boy” Williams also comes from a talented musical family. Not wanting to remain in the shadow of his brothers, mother, sister and father, Steve proved himself musically worthy by playing the drums. Steve first picked up the sticks at the tender age of 5, and he played in the band in high school and at Texas Southern University, where he won third place in a drum competition. Steve also made a name for himself by playing the drums for Prophetess Juanita Bynum, MDM and Voices, Minister Fred Williams & family, Myron Williams, and Ministers Darrell and Latonja Blair, as well as 17 playing for various churches around his town of Fort Worth, TX. By the time Steve was 20, he decided that he did not want to be just another gospel drummer, so he started studying Neo-Soul, R&B, Jazz-fusion, and Funk; Steve wants to be a solid

musician and universal drummer with the ability to play all types of music. There is not a day that passes by that Steve does not play the drums. Cory “Bass Man” Hamilton’s mother was a talented musician who had played the keyboards from the age of 11. When he was just 10 years old Cory told his mother that he wanted a keyboard for Christmas, but his mother said no there were already too many keyboards in the house, so he had to choose a different instrument. By chance, he heard a song on the radio and loved the sound of the bass so much that he wanted to emulate what he had heard, so he decided that the bass is what he wanted to play. Cory performed in his first live recording with a gospel choir at the age of 16. By the time Cory was 18 he was touring the country with the great Greg O’Quin. Cory has played for the DFW Mass Choir, and Carnell Murrell (Cory’s Inspiration), The Potter’s House and all of their Mega Fest and Conferences across the country, Fred Hammond, CiCi Winans, Yolanda Adams, Ricky Dillard, Kurt Carr, and Donald Lawrence. Cory too is a lover of all genres of music and he loves pleasing the crowd. Cory knows that Ultra Sound can change the game of music and take it back to where real music started from. Living Legend Sam Shake “Guitar King” Anderson was also born into a musical family. Shake, as called by his friends, is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and producer. In his youth and in his hometown of Louisville, KY, Shake and his brothers formed a group called “The Brotherhood” and by the time Shake was 9 years old, they had already cut 4 gospel records. Touring by the age of 13, Motown’s Berry Gordy caught one of their shows and wanted to sign them, but their parents would not allow it because they would not have been singing gospel. When of age Shake began to play for and tour with such Icons as Bruce Hornsby, Playa, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Static Major, The Indigo Girls, The Spice Girls, Curtis Mayfield, Aliyah, Felix Cavalieri, Ray Charles, Steve Cropper, Days of The New, Warren Haynes, and Earth Wind & Fire, just to name a few. Shake also spent 6 years as the Musical Director for the world famous Impressions. As a songwriter, Shake was signed to Warner Chappel Music, and he produced and recorded for many great labels and artist. Shake has also worked with many great Christian artist such as Annointed, Crystal Lewis, Bryan Duncan, the Hi Lites, Doc McKenzie, The Highway QC’s, Russ Taff, Nicole Nordeman, Avalon, Donnie McClurkin, and he formed the Grammy winning gospel choir New Breed with Israel Houghton. New Breed will be honoring Shake later on this year in Houston, TX. Shake has also worked on many movies and he has several gold and platinum albums for his work on “Blue Streak”, “Dr. Do Little”, “Boys On the Side”, and “Austin Powers”. Shake has played in some of the greatest concert halls and venues in the world, namely Carnegie Hall, The Ryman Auditorium, The Apollo Theatre, Symphony Music Hall, Radio City Music Hall, The Heinekin Music Hall, and The Buordone Theatre in Frankfurt Germany. Now residing in Fort Worth, TX where he is the Music Director and Worship Leader for Heritage of Faith Church, Shake continues to record and produce, as well as write for different artist. He is now getting ready for a live production with Ruben Studdard, Fantasia, Oleta Adams, Israel Houghton, and five other artists to be held at the Dallas Convention Center in the fall of 2010. Shake will also be the opening act for John Legend in September 2010 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. On top of all of that, Shake has recently released his solo CD entitled “Stories from Sammy Louis” that can be purchased at www.shakeanderson.com. Forever respected and highly appreciated in the music industry, Shake is a Musician’s musician who is unselfish and loves his life and what he does as a musician. 18

Now that you have an understanding of the power that each ingredient possesses, you can believe that when they come

together as one “Ultra Sound” they create magic; a supernatural joy that you can not get enough of. This addiction is so out of control that Ultra Sound Addict facilities are opening up all over the map, but these facilities are not for rehabilitation, but for celebration instead. Yes, people everywhere are confessing and celebrating the fact that they are addicted to Ultra Sound. Ultra Sound is destined to go down in the history books as the “Last of the Real Musicians” who created addicts across the globe. The addiction is spreading your way fast, in the meantime you can get a quick fix by listening to them on www.reverbnation.com/ultrasoundband, www.facebook.com/ultrasoundband, and www.myspace.com/ultrasoundband. Don’t miss your chance to get addicted!!

The Return of Jonathan Butler… “So Strong by Born2wryte™

Humble, meek, funny, gifted, loving, and grateful is the man; Peaceful, fun, exciting, relaxing, mellow, and So Strong is his music. Through a year of tragedy from the loss of his mother, his best friend (Wayman Tisdale), and the battle of his wife’s life with cancer, Jonathan Butler labored tirelessly and faithfully on his new and much awaited CD, appropriately titled So Strong filled with testimony of trials and triumphs. Jonathan confesses that throughout the making of this CD that God gave him strength and helped him to keep his joy. When you see God bringing you through stuff you feel there is a lightness that you step in to and there is a burden that is lifted, so Jonathan wants this CD to reflect the good Lord, good feelings and positive feelings. Also for this CD, Jonathan wanted to go back to where he first started with urban music and R&B. Throughout this love song CD you will know what Jonathan was thinking and feeling; it is a big pool of everything reflecting where Jonathan is at in his life right now. The big plus side to this CD is that Jonathans wife likes to dance, so it is the perfect opportunity for them to get on the dance floor and dance together. :-0) He did not grow up in the church; he came up in Jazz and R&B, and the whole show business background, so for Jonathan, the canvass will always be a wider canvass. Yet, Jonathan Butler the guitarist, the singer, the songwriter, and a child of God knows where to draw the line when it comes to the type of things that he puts on his canvass. There is a song on the CD titled Good time, and it is just that; it is a body rocking, head nodding, and finger snapping good time. The entire CD puts you in a positive, beautiful, relaxing, and encouraging good time state of mind that you are never quite ready to come out of. Coupled by the collaboration of such heavy hitters as Dave Koz, Rick Braun, Michael Lington, and Angie Stone is another undisputed reason that this CD So Strong is one of Jonathans best ever creations that is a must have. The worldwide release date of this CD is May 11, 2010. To learn more about the Incomparable Jonathan Butler you can find him at www.jonathanbutler.com, or www.mackavenue.com. at the door, and just worshiping Jesus together. ■■■ 21

Tamar Entertainment’s “For Your Soul’s Sake” by Born2wryte™ Beautiful is the heart that constantly yearns to do for others. Phenomenal is the strength the refuels itself at the brink of exhaustion. Profound is the faith that believes beyond what the eyes can see. Fearless is the mind that has the courage to move forward in hope, when all appears to be hopeless. All of these things and more are personified through the actions of Crystal Stone and all the partners in Tamar Entertainment Inc. Founded by Mary Terry Wiley and Sheryl Holland in 2001, Tamar Entertainment was birthed out of the vision of Mary and Sheryl’s desire to have a company that could be used as a vehicle to nurture, train, and catapult the gifts and talents of kids with performing arts abilities to the ultimate level of success. Tamar Entertainment Inc. is a non-profit company dedicated to promoting personal growth and professional development of young people, and they provide education, a mentorship program, vocational training, fine arts and recreation (i.e. Music, Dance, Theatrical Productions, and Literary and Printed Media), support of amateur athletics, and personal and empowerment workshops and seminars to financially challenged children. Mary Terry Wiley has been a Psychiatric Nurse of 18 years, and Mary is also a Playwright. Mary wrote the play “For Your Soul’s Sake” more than 20 years ago, but never did anything with it. Then the onset of HMO’s and new medical limitations relating to psychiatric services triggered Mary’s desire to share some of life’s truths via the play. A national tour of the play is in the works. In comes Crystal Stone, as she sought to be a part of the play. Crystal, being a graduate of Prairie View A&M where she studied Theatre Arts, she was able to secure a total of 5 characters in the play. Like, Crystal, the other members of the Tamar Entertainment group originally came looking for parts in the play, then after receiving skillful tutelage on how to run a business from the ground up from Mary and Sheryl, everyone was able to branch out and open their own individual business, while remaining an active part of Tamar Entertainment Inc. Ms. Crystal Stone owns Krisstylz Dance Company where she teaches ballet, jazz, tap and praise dance. Crystal offers her dance classes for free because she does not want the opportunity for a child to be missed simply because their parents could not afford it. Crystal not only teaches the kids how to dance, but she also makes sure to teach them affirmations; affirmations of how the power lies within you, self-esteem building, and other issues. Further, Crystal is starting to work with schools on an Anti-Bullying Program because she does not want to be at fault for just talking about it, but for actually being a part of the change. Now I am not sure what that says to anyone else, but to me that says that Crystal’s passion has a heartbeat. Crystal also owns C. Stone Management where she secures the best jobs for Models, Actors, Music, and Dance Artist, as well as providing Models/Pageant Manager and Consultant services, press kits, and website services. Ms. Laquita Thompson owns Xtreme Heat Sports Management where she serves as a Sports Agent. She teaches the kids to treat their talents like a business, and then she shows them how to conduct business, along with how to carry themselves with their talents. Laquita played semi-pro basketball for the WUBA’s Houston Blaze 23 until a recurring knee injury ended her career as a player. Laquita is now a certified Science Teacher with the Board of Education in Texas, and she taught Integrated Physics and Chemistry for six years. Laquita participates in summer

AAU Basketball where she is a certified summer Coach with the NCAA Coaches Association. She is also a certified Personal Fitness Trainer, WNBA Sports Agent, and the “First” female coach in the Fort Bend ISD in the state of Texas to coach High School basketball at Hightower High School where she lead them to the District Championship in the 2002-2003 season. Mr. Troy Barnett branched out to create Phat Barz Records & Multimedia L.L.C. A musician from the age of 10, Troy’s first instrument was a trumpet. Through his high school years, Troy expanded his talents and skills to the entire brass family of instruments. At the age of 16 Troy formed his own five member jazz band, and they performed in jazz clubs throughout the city of Houston, TX. Troy later taught himself to play the organ and the piano before attending Texas Southern and Sam Houston State Universities. Troy is now a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), and the Writers Guild of America. Troy has played for national recording artist such as Kim Burrell, and he has shared the stage with legends such as Wynton Marsalis and Dr. Shirley Caesar. Now although Tamar Entertainment is self-sufficient with a graphic artist, their own recording studio, and their own marketing team, they are still in need of corporate sponsorships to fund their Community Arts Center, Phoenix Rising. The arts center is located in a low-income area in Houston, TX., but it is a beautiful old church building waiting to bear good fruits. As soon as they can obtain enough money from sponsorships, they plan to make great things come out of the Community Arts Center. Phoenix Rising will be used for annual summer camps, among a host of other needed activities for the kids. Crystal informed me that Tamar Entertainment Inc. wants to be able to promote new talent (actors, writers, etc.) and display the work for the community. “We love kids and we love camps. All of our companies service the community. We have worked throughout the community for years, and it will be nice to have our own place to service the community from”, says Crystal. Crystal added that they have kids that attended their camps in the past that still contact them to talk when they have had a bad day. All members of Tamar Entertainment Inc. are focused on what they are really here to do, and they need resources and funding so they can continue to do these things and get bigger and better to serve more people effectively and successfully. It is not only the play, but it is a part of all that they do that is “For Your Soul’s Sake”!!! You can learn more about everyone at Tamar Entertainment Inc. and their individual companies and sponsorship opportunities when you visit them at www.tamarentertainment.com or call 281-761-5460; help them make the dreams of financially challenged children come true for generations to come. ■■■
