MULTI LANE RECORDS
Search: You are traveling along a multi-lane highway in heavy traffic. Following distances are very close and your space cushion is reduced. Searching this chaotic traffic pattern, you observe all of the following hazards: other vehicles, reduced space cushion, inadequate following distances, and reduced space to both sides. A hurried-looking driver is in the lane to your right, tailgating the car ahead of him and obviously looking for an opportunity to pass. He begins to change lanes into the space that you presently occupy. Evaluate: Immediate action is required. Decide to communicate with the other driver and take action to protect your space. Execute: Execute by sounding your horn. Steer to adjust your position away from the offending automobile, cover your brakes and clutch, slowing or speeding up as necessary to avoid the car. The dynamite variety of the bands from very
young bands splashing the explosive energy to the crowd to the old maîtres of rock and metal, of the music - from experimental prog metal to the classic rock riffs, of the performance – from the ice spreading canons by Skillet to the gothic cathedral mass by Ghost, of the entertainment – from Paranormal Cirque to the Red Bull Freestyle Motocross – all that was unique and impressive.
The Dirty Honey clearly stands out above the rest. The young American rock band from Los Angeles influenced by Led Zeppelin has everything what the modern rock band needs – the “dirty” old fashioned sound, the melodic and energetic riffs, a charismatic lead singer, the cool bad ass guitar players and a crazy drummer. Vocalist Marc LaBelle reminds me of a cross between Robert Plant (vocal) and Bon Scott (performance), his vocals are outstanding and they have that groove that the rock fans really enjoy. I hope they have more songs in their mind and we’ll see the complete set next time. With no doubts Dirty Honey is one of the bands that once you see them live you know you’ll want to see them again.
The Skillet – the American Christian rock band from Memphis, Tennessee, the power couples John Cooper and his wife Korey won over the crowd with their highly energetic set with John Cooper turning into a half man/half machine with mini smoke cannons attached to his arms and shooting ice in the crowd. The Fever 333 did a great gig or as they are calling – the demonstration as they’re about

much more than just a band playing rock music. Their about to make a clear statement about what’s going on in the country and appeal to protest against the political system. The Ghost, the Swedish metal band always surrounded by myths and mysteries had captivated their audience with their rituals from the start. For almost a decade the true identity of the band members who’re always keep masks on the stage could be kept secret. The lead singer Tobias Forge alias Cardinal Copia was accompanied on stage decorated as a gothic cathedral by his 7 ghouls including three guitarists – all in masks as usual. What makes Ghost unique and entertaining is not only their distinctive stage look and celebratory performance as a demon pope and ghouls but particularly their heavy rocking and catchy tunes on the theme of the sacrilegious. Among the old maîtres of rock like ZZ Top, Cheap Trick, Def Leppard and Guns’n Roses the most remarkable gigs has been performed by Alter Bridge, Deftones, Mastodon, Gojira, Alien Weaponry, Nothing More, Power Trip, Whitechapel, Graveyard and Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown.
The one big opportunity for the future exit 111 festivals I can see clearly will be certainly more attention to bikers. I mean the bike show, entertainment and probably more vendors as we have it on every bike week. One point I’ve found very positive was the special designated area for biker camping. The site was lined up so everyone has his own marked territory for his bike and tent with no territorial disputes. No cars or RV’s are allowed there. And that campsite was the closest to the stage! A privilege with respect and sense. Alex K

Nefarious James “Enough” I awoke this morning to follow my same old routine. Get my ass up. Have coffee and peruse the news of the day (we can leave out the other minor personal details of my morning routine). First thing I read was an obituary. It was for the death of a man I knew here locally. A man you always saw as a staple at a local watering hole. He seemed to have a lot of friends that loved him. He was always surrounded by others that seemed to care about him on many levels. His obituary listed all the people he left behind in his family. How much he was loved. How much he would be missed. It listed accomplishments he had done throughout his life and the advanced education he had received throughout his short lived years. What it didn’t mention throughout the entire article was a very pertinent and important fact which was the cause of this person’s death. The cause of this man’s demise was a reason that could have been avoided. He could have made the personal decision not to go as far as he did when he did it. When he got to a point where he could no longer make rational decisions on his own, his friends should have stepped in and had the balls to stop him. There is absolutely no excuse to allow this to happen. NONE! This man died senselessly because he was drunk. People around him even stated he was drunk. Those at the previous bar he celebrated at stated he left drunk. When he arrived at his next to final location, he arrived drunk. I think you all know what the end result of this is. Are we getting the point yet? Are you people seeing the message here? I understand that people don’t want to get involved. I understand no one wants to be the guy or girl that ruins the party by stepping in. I’m tired of hearing “well he’s a grown man can make his own decisions”, “He’s bigger than me and will kick my ass if I try and stop him”. I’d rather have a guy pissed at me than have to write articles like this or even worse carry another

casket. We put out bumper stickers and posters and commercials and T-shirts telling everybody to watch out for motorcycles. All the while we don’t watch out for ourselves or others that ride with us. We allow that brother or sister to get on their sled wasted and just take for granted that we will see them again and they will get home safely. When are we going to wake up and realize before we can have anybody care enough to watch out for us that we have to care enough about ourselves to look out for each other? Maybe I didn’t say this loud enough.
Have you had Enough? Let Us Know Your Thoughts: info@BornToRide.com
How the hell do you expect people to watch out for bikers when we won’t even watch out for ourselves? We can sit on the sidelines and grieve for the loss of a loved one all day long. It hurts. The memories will keep replaying in our heads of a life that was. Maybe through that grief we can learn the lesson that is staring us right in the face. Be the person that saves that life. Be the person that makes the saving of a loved one a reality. You be the one to save a biker and stop making the excuses you’ve used for years. You’re proud to be the asshole in the picture with your middle finger up all the time. Maybe it’s time to put that being an asshole to good use. Step in and do the right thing. I know there are others that step in when the time is needed and say, “Enough”. Don’t you think it’s time for you to be that person? Did this piss you off? Good. Now go out and make a difference.

JAN 17,18,19 GIBTOWN
Held in conjunction with Gibtown Bikefest on January 17th, 18th 19th 2020, Born to Ride Media presents the Chopporama Chopper Show! A three day chopper extravaganza of some of the most talented known (and unknown) builders around the U.S. This ain’t a competition, just a gathering of chopper lovers young and old alike dedicated to those carbed custom machines of years gone by. Don’t worry there will still be Ride In Bike Shows Saturday & Sunday. You ask who are these Builders? For the most part, these builders are what I call the ‘new generation of builder’. The thought process of most of the new generation builders and riders is completely different than it was 10, 15 or even 20 years ago. Back then, a whole generation of builders were influenced by the $50,000-$100,000 bike builds seen on build-off’s and series aired by the Discovery Channel. Today’s builder, rider
seems more content to build and ride what they can with what they have available to them. If that means buying a 15 year old Sportster for $2500 and turning it into an awesome home built custom build so be it. In my opinion there is a sense of history that these guys (and girls) connect with and inspires them to keep things simple, stylish and connecting them to the past. ‘This’ is the new generation, and Im hoping to bridge the gap at this event. From the older enthusiast decked out in black leather drinking a cold brew to the enthusiast wearing khakis and Converse All Stars drinking a Latte, this should appeal to everyone. * For a chance to have your chopper build included contact me, Erick Runyon at Erick@borntoride.com or call: 888-795-5779 Now it’s time to learn a little about some of these very talented builders that will be part of Chopporama.
BILL DODGE
Builder Profile Bill Dodge: All around great guy and prolific bike builder Bill Dodge has been riding and building bikes since he was a kid in Compton,California. His passion was strong at a young age, and his hard work ethic and talent eventually ended up with working as shop foreman for Jesse James at West Coast Choppers. In the ‘hey day’ of the West Coast Choppers era, if you did business at WCC, you came into contact with Bill. It was there that he became widely known for his easy go

bike as easily as you can spot a Picasso. Like Picasso, his builds have similar traits. but are all glorious works of art to be respected by peers and connoisseurs alike. We’re lucky enough to have him join us as an invited builder to Chopporama. You can see his bikes as well as the work of many other talented builders at the Chopporama experience by Born to Ride during the Gibtown Bikefest January 17th, 18th and 19th.
ing ‘what can I do for you’, ‘how can I help? After spending 8 ys at WCC Bill packed up and moved to New Jersey where he opened up Bling’s Cycles.. Bill spent some time in Jersey, then met a girl in Kentucky and moved Bling’s to the Blue Grass state. The two fell in love and decided Kentucky was too damned cold. They packed up and headed to the promise land of bike builders, Daytona Beach Florida. Bill has established himself as one of the premier bike builders in the industry. His work is precision like, and if you’re familiar with Bill’s work, you can spot a Bill Dodge
BRIAN BUTTERA
Brian Buttera of Buttera’s Metal Werx, Lakeland, Florida has spent most of his life doing metalwork and fabrication. All the way back in 2017, (and I say that tongue in cheek) Brian was motivated to build his first custom bike by his friend and accomplished bike builder Ryan Gore of Paper Street Customs. The bike, a red BTR 32 | BORNTORIDE.COM
shovelhead was taken to The Rats Hole Bike Show in Sturgis where it won ‘Best in Show’. From Sturgis, the bike went to Swiss Moto Zurich where it won 1st Place Radical Class and Best in Show. His next stop was in Abu Dhabi where his bike won Best in Show at Custom Show Emirates where he won Best In Show. You’d think that would be enough for the average builder. First bike, and it takes the world by storm. Nope, Brian recently took his second build to Los Angeles for The Golden Bolt Competition. Unlike many of today’s shows, this competition wasn’t only based on cosmetics, but also on performance and reliability and the bikes were put through the paces throughout the LA traffic, etc. The grand prize winner would go home with $30,000. Brian took top honors and headed back home to Lakeland with a second great show-stopping motorcycle and a pocket full of cash. We’re excited that Brian accepted our offer to be a part of Chopporama! He may be a ‘new kid on the block’ but his work is timeless and in a class by itself. All of the builders have something unique to bring to the table. We’re looking forward to seeing everybody come together for the sake of ‘the all mighty chopper.’

JEFF LOVELADY
Today we wanna highlight another great dude bringing a couple nice builds to Chopporama, Jeff Lovelady of GraySpeed Cycles! After 12 yrs of working for the city, he quit his 9-5 and went to MMI. He would come home to his wife and kids on the weekends then do the MMI thing during the week.. After he graduated MMI, the next item on his list was to open up his shop. He did it big by purchasing a former church in the grand Central District on 1st Ave in St.Pete and converted it into a beautiful space so nice that it would make the designers on HGTV jealous. His first chopper build out of the shop was,a beautiful ‘59 pre-unit Triumph he named ‘Snowblind’. The bike was photographed and published for issue #77 of Dice Magazine. Jeff explained that he couldn’t have achieved any of his goals without the love and support of his family and that Snowblind wouldn’t have happened without the support and help of his friends. Jeff is a great example of a family man and a business man who followed his dreams to success. We’re excited that he accepted our invitation, and we’re looking forward to seeing the bikes he’ll bring to the table at Chopporama.
ERIC ALLARD
Eric Allard of FnA.Custom Cycles. Based out of Lakeland Florida, Eric has a reputation for being relatively quiet and and unassuming. He’ll give you the shirt off his back, but prefers to keep to himself and let his builds do the talking for him. Prior to getting his first street bike in 2006, Eric was into dirtbikes and four-wheelers. Once he acquired that first bike, a ‘77 Shovelhead, his view of the two wheeled world changed forever. He worked on friend bikes, and builds of his own for a couple years until her came to the decision in 2009 to open ‘FnA Custom Cycles’. His work can be best described as ‘stylishly unique’. Whether taking a classic BMW and creating a steam punk For more information on Chopporama go to: www.Chopporama.com or Call: 888-795-5779
style monster that you could see in a ‘Mad Max’ movie, or taking a Kawasaki 750 H2 powerplant and turning into one of a kind digger style chopper, he has a flair for the unexpected.
Eric also has the mind of a scientist that never sleeps. He is constantly coming up with ideas and designs to help improve upon the reliability of those Harley and Triumph Motors of yesteryear. He’s developed a seal kit that people can’t get enough of, and he’s also come up with a couple unique magneto systems for Shovelheads etc. that will keep you running down the rode with more dependability than ever. We’re excited that Eric along with amny other talented builders accepted our invitation to join us at Chopporama. It will be a great event highlighting some of the industry’s most creative, and artistic builders. It’ll be a fun for all ages thrill ride, and we look forward to seeing you there!

KENNY DUKES
Chopporama Builder Profile: Kenny Dukes of Hellbenders Motorcycles and Steven Toth of @toth_fabrication. What we have here is a great combo of old school meets new school. Kenny has been in the Industry for most of his life. He’s put in his time w other major bike manufacturing companies and Ike many, decided it would be more gratifying
to open his own shop. Named ‘HellBenders’ after his Army Unit, he set out to build one of a kind, choppers comprised of only U. S. Parts, complete w his own manufacturers license. Fast forward a few years to a couple short months ago when fabricator Steven Toth moves from South Florida to just outside the Tampa area looking for a new home to continue his passion in bike building. Kenny welcomed Steve into
DREW CEMER
his shop with open arms and it’s been full steam ahead since. Their contribution to Chopporama can be seen here, and I believe there will be many people out there appreciative of its classic styling clues. The build is going to be a great addition to the awesome line up of bikes and builders and we’re looking forward to seeing the finished machine under the bright lights of the show.
Chopporama Builder Profile: Several years ago when Drew Cemer of Freakshow Fabrication told his father that he wanted to work in a motorcycle shop, he was told in a discouraging manor that he needed to know someone to work in a bike shop. With that in mind Drew went to a local bike shop and 12 minutes later he had a job! Thankfully, Drew seems to be a lot like many other bike builders... tell them they can’t do something, and they get it done! A few years later he was working with another bike shop who’s owner decided to pack up and head to California. Drew’s options were either to move with him or stay and do his own thing. His own BTR 34 | BORNTORIDE.COM

thing turned out to be ‘Freakshow Fabrication’ and he’s been busy doing his thing for nearly 10 years. Whether he’s repairing and restoring an old chopper and bringing it back to it’s glory days or if he’s doing a total ground up custom build, his work is timeless. He has a great eye for capturing the spirit of those glorious choppers of the past. In fact there will be more than a few builds at Chopporama that Drew hasn’t had a hand in. He’s known throughout the community to be a guy you can turn to for a random part, advice or help. If he doesn’t have the part you need,he knows someone that has it etc. Luckily for us, he’s bringing a few bikes to Chopporama and were stoked! He’s a great addition to an impressive list of builders that will be at the show.
he acquired this survivor frame is pretty spectacular. Lets just say persistence and a new true life long friendship.paid off for him in more ways than one. When Justin asked the previous frame owner about how he came up with the idea for the square tubing idea, his response was, “Hell I don’t know, the wife and I were trippin’ balls when we worked on it”.The bike set in an attic for almost 50 yrs, when ,before it was pulled back out into the sunlight, when his friend exclaimed, ‘This bitch has had one hell of a trip”. Right then, Justin knew it’s new name would be ‘Bad Trip’. We look forward to seeing Justin and his ‘Bad Trip’ along with a great mix of other builders, vintage bike enthusiast and fellow Chopperheads.at Chopporama!
Justin Valcourt
Josh Laurenti Chopporama Builder Profile; Meet vintage bike historian and chopper builder Justin Valcourt! Justin is very prominent in the antique motorcycle scene, and the event moderator for the Antique motorcycle Club of America. To be fair, Justin will tell you, “I’m not a builder, and I just take old stuff and put it together” There may be different types of builders, but whatever he does, ‘works’. If you’ve been involved in the chopper scene in the Southeast U.S in the last couple years, there’s a pretty good chance you know of or have seen his square tubed, panhead chopper, which he lovingly calls, ‘Bad Trip’. Chopporama Builder Profile: The name @shadetree_surgeon conjures up various ideas and thoughts but in the motorcycle community it’s known to be kick ass @ youtube channel put on the interweb by a cool cat named Josh Laurenti. If you haven’t checked out his channel yet, do so after you read this. Though his videos are primarily moto related, you also get a very entertaining glimpse into his life, and his friends. The thought behind a XS build was simple - ‘I’ve never built a bike before. Let’s see if I can do it.’ Josh documented the entire build on his channel. My take away from was A) If he didn’t know how to do something, he figured it out. B) He built a pretty sweet bike! Josh himself has said, “If I can do it, anybody can do it.” I’m glad he built it! Chopporama isn’t all about pro builders with big budget bikes, it’s about everyone sharing the same passion.

Sally Richardson, Not For Sale… Ever. Again.
Causality: The whole idea of being driven in life is connected with the idea of causality, of life moving under the power of the past. And that is so ingrained in our common sense that it’s very difficult to get rid of it. A thing constructed can only be loved after its constructed, but a thing created is loved before it exits. - Charles Dickens, Authentically Pivot January is “Human Trafficking Awareness Month”. Sally is a survivor of human trafficking. Sally is an avid motorcycle enthusiast. An icon representing courage in the communities and people she touches advocating against human trafficking and such crimes. She is also a seasoned professional model who you probably have seen before. Sally is a true warrior. Her story and what she went through is gut-wrenching. I am privileged to call her a friend. Sally is mother to six children (7 if you count “Dyna” her Yorkie) and grandmother of two. She is currently CoDirector of “Fighting Against Trafficking Organization”. Sally also strongly focuses on her practice as a consultant championing the cause of victims’ rights of sexual crimes, domestic abuse and violence against women and children. Sally recently won a supreme court case in South Dakota, making it caselaw across the country, thus giving victims of abuse who are able to prove they have long suffered and currently still suffer from their abuse, the ability to take their perpetrator to civil court for jury trial and pursue punitive damages. If you voted in the last election, one of the issues to vote on your ballot was a direct result of Sally’s hard work on behalf of victims nationwide. Sally’s expertise has been utilized by legislators throughout the Midwest to help pass new and tougher sex trafficking legislation. She is a sought-after speaker and has successfully contributed to organizations such as; Creighton University’s Human Trafficking Initiative, Women’s Fund, BTR 42 | BORNTORIDE.COM

Here are some terms you want to get familiar with: Sexual Exploitation: Taking advantage of sexuality and attractiveness of a person to make a personal gain or profit. It is the abuse of a position of vulnerability, differential power, or trust for sexual purposes. Sexual Assault: Refers to an assault of a sexual nature on another person. It can include a wide range of unwanted sexual contact such as rape, forced vaginal, anal or oral penetration, forced sexual intercourse, inappropriate touching, forced kissing, child molestation, exhibitionism, voyeurism, obscene phone calls, torture of a victim in a sexual manner, etc. Sexual Abuse: Aggravated sexual assault is a felony sexual offense governed by state laws, which vary by state. It is typically defined as a sexual assault that maims, wounds, or disfigures the victim, or involves a victim who is physically or mentally incapacitated. It may also be defined to include a sexual assault that is aided or abetted by another person, occurs during commission of another crime, or involves use of a deadly weapon. Sexual Harassment: Occurs when a person is subject to unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature to such an extent that it alters the conditions of the person’s employment and creates an abusive working environment. Both predators/perpetrators, at the time of the occurrences were seeking to gratify no one but themselves i.e.; 1) sexual gratification 2) control 3) financial gain The sexual abuse Weinstein’s Victims felt as well as trafficking victims was and is, we were all made to feel trapped, vulnerable and all were exploited. I have no doubt that both Weinstein’s and Trafficked Victims/ Survivors had or still feel the ripples of the deep oceanic tides of this heinous act that was forced upon all. What comes to mind is – as a trafficked victim myself I know that my safety was and is still a concern for me. That during the time of occurrence, I was not in control of my situation any more than the those who suffered at Weinstein’s hands. Both perpetrators used their position to commit sexual torture by using manipulation, coercion, and force – to obtain and gain from their victims. Sadly, this Weinstein situation, has brought to light one very important issue I myself am struggling with and that is: no matter how many experts a task force can bring together or a law
Sally’s Organization Conducted a Charity Ride Called “FAST Ride” Which Stands For “Fight Against Sex Trafficking”.
enforcement agency, they will never have the insight survivors have. I personally am having great difficulty getting this across in my own community task force. Again, proving that although predators all share many characteristics the reasons behind why they commit this never-ending hideous crime greatly differ and so do the visual aspects. As far as victims go – pain is pain and what we all suffered is horrifying to say the least. However, there are some differences between Weinstein’s Victims and those who are Trafficked. Weinstein’s Victims have received attention from every aspect starting with the investigation to possibly the courtsa and great financial compensation. Trafficked victims receive little to no attention if you are an adult victim. If you’re a minor, you may get about 15 minutes of fame so to speak. As far as any financial compensation, most if not all trafficked victims receive absolutely nothing. With these two most important issues, it leaves many trafficked victims, what they deem reasons they either
stay or go back to their traffickers. Most important is, all or most of us victims had our voice and freedom violently taken away. All victims of sexual predators are valuable. They deserve a voice and the media should not discriminate on what is going to get them ratings.” That said, there is a growing number of organizations and individuals rallying alongside Sally. Among several others for example, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally organizers as well as the city of Sturgis teamed-up with Sally’s organization and conducted a charity ride called “FAST Ride” which stands for “Fight Against Sex Trafficking”. In their Memorandum of Understanding the organizers state; “We recognize that trafficking doesn’t happen because of events like Sturgis. It happens because demand exists wherever there are large gatherings of people, and traffickers are more than willing to leverage any event to exploit vulnerable individuals for financial gain. But we also recognize that the biker community in general is filled with good, compassionate men and women who could be inspired and engaged in combatting this evil; and this is the opportunity we hope to capitalize on with the Sturgis F.A.S.T. Ride 2019.” As it turns out, the event successfully raised $14,000.00 in support of Sally’s cause. Fighting Against Trafficking ( www. fightingagainsttrafficking.org ) is a SD-based nonprofit organization led by survivor-leader Sally Richardson and Senator Lynne HixDiSanto. There are multiple well-intentioned organizations fighting against human trafficking in the nation. All effective in their own merit to various degrees. Sally so far has grown to nationally champion advocating against human trafficking and related crimes. Her testimonial has made a direct impact triggering real tangible legislative changes further protecting victims. Sally is moving mountains by the power of her past. She has become a warrior. She was born a warrior. Dare I say a warrior “predestined” or “created” therefore truly “loved before she existed” (as Charles Dickens would say) and, designed for a fight only her could fight. She deserves to be heard. Her journey forces us all to see the undeniable reality that the value of human worth is indispensable rather than disposable. Sally is scheduled to visit Florida in 2020. We should all look forward to seeing her or if not at least support her cause.

returned and apologized, which was not necessary and I paid for the can and headed to the gas pumps after telling her the story of the beautiful angel that had given me a ride. “I saw her drop you off and I thought maybe she was your girlfriend or wife.” “I wish” is all I could say, and we both laughed. I get a few dollars worth of gas and started hoofing it back down 60 toward the truck. A fellow in a pickup truck stops and says “Man, I heard the story about you running out of gas, and I actually saw that hot girl that dropped you off, so if you want me to, I will drive you back to your truck – just in case she doesn’t come back to get you.” I accepted the ride and the man even offered to hang for a minute just to make sure that I could get it started. I thanked him profusely and told him that I was very appreciative. We conversed about the ‘paying it forward’ thing just like the beautiful girl that brought me there did, and of course, I also told him that he was also an angel unaware. I poured the gas in the tank leaving just a little to dump into the carburetor for good measure. Christian Motorcyclists Association There is not much that compares with the freedom of getting in the wind! It’s a beautiful day, the temperature is just perfect, and the gentle rumble of the pipes is pure music to your ears. Unfortunately, as you are cruising along, there comes a rider who thinks he owns road. He is cutting people off and weaving through traffic, causing anger to raises its ugly head. Your wonderful ride goes from delight to a deep annoyance, and you need to remember to practice forgiveness! Perhaps you are riding through town and arrive at a four way stop. Everyone is taking their appropriate turns until a guy in a truck decides that the right of way rule doesn’t count! When the car before him goes through the intersection, the truck tagged along, through the same turn, running the stop sign. Only quick attention of the other drivers prevents what was almost a foolish accident. You need to practice forgiveness! A favorite challenge is when you are stopped on your bike at a light, and a large vehicle pulls right up on your tail. On my bike I have three extra back end lights than come from the factory and people still pull right up behind me. People just do not have any idea what could happen if
they are that close to a bike and their brakes fail. You need to practice forgivness! It is difficult to maintain your composure when such irresponsibility is happening all around us. The problem is that while these cagers are unaware of a bikes presence, they are likewise ignorant to efforts to educate them. The bigger issue is if we give in to our anger our whole day can end up spoiled, and the offender just rolls merrily along! As unnatural as it may be to forgive these unknown dangerous drivers, the benefit is for us. Our day is salvaged and we are safe and sound for having used defensive riding techniques. Forgiveness can make a profound difference in how we are able to successfully face the day! In the Bible, in Luke 23:35, we are taught forgiveness by example. As He was giving His life on the cross, Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” Jesus came to give forgiveness to those who believed in and trusted Him as their Savior. Because of His sacrifice, and His perfect sin-free life, Jesus is in the unique position of being able to forgive all mankind, if they will only turn to Him for absolution. Knowing that Jesus paid such a high price to exonerate you and me, doesn’t it make sense that we should be able, and willing, to find it in our hearts to forgive others. You will be blessed, and your heart will be touched, if you can learn to forgive others as Jesus forgave us. That, my friends, is what true freedom is, forgiveness.
