Hatbox You’ll need floral shaker card kit 12”-square cardstock gold mirror card template Cracked Pistachio Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink ribbon gem Collall Tacky Glue hot-glue gun scoreboard Chloe's Creative Cards Posy Flower Cut and Emboss folder manual die-cutting machine

Step by step 1 Use template to create hatbox base twice and glue pieces together with one of the side tabs. 2 Fold small tabs and glue to one of the circle bases. Glue the end to the other tabs and adhere the second circle base on top, covering the small tabs. 3 Cut out the lid pieces and make in the same way as the base, covering tabs with the second circle. Create a second lid without the small circular holes in the sides. 4 Cut gold strip and affix around the lid with the holes. Add a matching ribbon through the holes, glue inside the lid, creating a handle. 5 Add the second lid on top of the base, using as a guide for adding another larger band of gold around the base under the lid. Glue a gem hiding any joins. 6 Adhere the lid with the ribbon to the bottom of the base. 7 Die-cut lots of flowers in a few sizes, ink and add sequin centres. 8 Cut a fringe ‘grass’ along the edge of the second lid, and affix 52

Add a tag to the ribbon handle for a place to write a message

the remaining flowers. Fit smaller ones in any spaces. 9 To finish, add a large bow in matching ribbon to the middle of the flowers with a butterfly topper.

Create height for the flowers by adding rolled-up scraps of cardstock or foam underneath and hiding with die-cut leaves
