MUHі is a multifunctional project, aimed at systematic work on formation of new brands of young Ukrainian artists. The name MUHі comes from the abbreviation — Young Ukrainian artists and... The first MUHi exhibition was presented in 2009 at Bottega Gallery. In 2019, the project will be held for the 7th time. The core of the project is a competition, held according to the following rules: Young Ukrainian artists above the age of 21 can participate; Only Ukrainian citizens can participate; Finalists and winners are choosen by Ukrainian (since 2015 — international) expert committee, consisting of curators, directors of museums, art centers, galleries, art critics and artists, having high reputation in the professional artistic environment; The artist can pass the competition and get into the finalists’ shortist of MUHі only once. Shcherbenko Art Centre presents the MUHi 2019 contest for young Ukrainian artists. Starting this year, the project will focus on some aspects of the Ukrainian art scene development.
